Anderson, Wilde & Harris is a multi-disciplinary firm of Chartered Surveyors and Valuers with head offices in London and satellite offices around the UK and abroad. Incorporated in 1995 as a firm of Chartered Surveyors providing Valuation and Building Surveying advice, we have branched out to provide a full range of services to the property industry ranging from valuation to project design, to construction design and property management services.

From humble beginnings at offices in the West End, rapid expansion followed with seven local offices developed in North London (Finchley), North West London (Willesden), East London (East Ham), Harrow-Middlesex (Kenton), South London (Croydon), Herts, Beds & Bucks (Stevenage), East Anglia (Bury St. Edmunds) and Oxford (Henley). We have representation overseas as well, with branches in Dublin (Ireland) and Bhuj (India). With our in-depth local market insight, we are able to provide comprehensive, reliable valuations and survey reports with turnaround times matched by only a few in our line of business.

Our Building Surveyors provide a dedicated service, maintaining constant and personal contact with clients from the start of the survey, till release of the report and are at hand to provide necessary support, even after the clients receive their reports.

RESIDENTIAL BUILDING SURVEYS

Your house is probably the biggest personal investment you are likely to make and so it makes sense to ensure that what you are purchasing is sound in every respect. A Building Survey is a comprehensive inspection suitable for all residential properties, especially listed buildings, older properties, any building constructed in an unusual way, properties you plan to renovate or alter or which have been extensively altered. This survey provides a detail of the structural integrity of the building along with detailed advice of the remedial works required.

COMMERCIAL BUILDING SURVEYS

We offer a full Building Survey for commercial premises which will determine the condition of a building, analyse the full extent of any defects and can additionally, if requested, provide budget costs to rectify the defects. Our survey team will protect your interests as a commercial investor, by giving you an indication of the type of costs and repairs you might face. This could potentially serve as important evidence later if your landlord tries to pursue dilapidations or other repairs.

HOMEBUYER SURVEY WITH VALUATION

Our surveyors carry out this service based on a standard format defined by RICS, primarily designed for conventional properties in reasonable condition built within the last 150 years. It is not as comprehensive as a building survey report and is not suitable for properties needing renovation, alterations, or extension.

PROFESSIONAL INDEMNITY INSURANCE

We currently hold £25 million PI insurance for each and every claim plus legal costs and expenses. This level can be increased if required. We have a fully clear claims record.
