THE GOLDEN CHOPSTICKS AWARDS

THE BRIEF: To produce the inaugural awards ceremony celebrating Oriental food WHERE: Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square, LondonWHEN: April 2018, 2019 and 2020

We were given full creative control of this event, and entrusted with delivering a unique and ultra-glamorous evening. We selected the London Marriott Hotel for its prime Mayfair location, spectacular ballroom and reputation for impeccable service – and it didn’t disappoint. Under our instruction, executive chef Graeme Campbell rose to the challenge of creating a feast of Oriental dishes – no mean feat, considering some of the very best chefs in the world were among the crowd. If the food wowed the guests, our event decor blew them away, as they marvelled at the giant Buddha on stage, the hanging lanterns and the traditional Asian table settings. We are incredibly proud of producing and creatively directing this event, which was immediately acclaimed as Britain’s most prestigious celebration of Oriental food, and of the fact that we secured the contract to produce the Golden Chopsticks Awards again for the third year running.

MICROSOFT BURNS SUPPER

THE BRIEF: To produce an annual event for the staff and clients of one of the world’s leading companiesWHERE: National Museum of Scotland, EdinburghWHEN: January 2015 to present

Every January, fans of Robert Burns celebrate the poet’s birthday with an evening of speeches, songs, good food and great whisky. It’s one of Scotland’s most anticipated annual events – so when Microsoft wanted to treat its staff and clients to a proper Burns Supper, it came to us. We proudly delivered a night to remember, orchestrating all the traditional components from the Address to the Haggis to the Toasts to the Lassies, for hundreds of eager party-goers. With Edinburgh’s magnificent National Museum of Scotland as the venue, we pulled out all the stops, entertaining the crowd with live performances, pipers, dancers and talented speech-makers. It was so well received, Microsoft have retained us for six years running, with our Burns Supper growing in size and scope each time.

Party at the Palace is one of Scotland’s leading family-friendly music events. We are proud to have been involved in planning, delivering and managing this award-winning annual event since 2014, and helping it grow in both scale and ambition year on year. Each summer it attracts more than 16,000 people to the West Lothian town, treating them to fabulous performances by the likes of Kaiser Chiefs, Billy Ocean, Travis, Simple Minds, Chic and Nile Rodgers, The Proclaimers and many more – and all with the stunning Linlithgow Palace as a backdrop.

The vision was clear! Programme a 10 date tour working with local brands and businesses to create a memorable event for 300 – 400 guests to enjoy fizz, brunch, fashion, masterclasses and goody bags and take it round the country with the UKs favourite fashionista – Gok Wan! An exciting job we did to sell out venues. From venue sourcing; production, room theming; goody bag provision – we covered it all!

We created the “Strictly Come Prancing” brand where the brief was to develop an event for charities who can raise vitals funds to their utmost potential in a unique and engaging way. Providing the IP, production, assets for producing the event for charities and event management - this event has taken the UK by storm raising hundreds of thousands of pounds for various excellent causes.

THE GLAMIS PROM

THE BRIEF: To produce a stunning proms in the park concert for up to 5,000 peopleWHERE: Glamis Castle, AngusWHEN: July 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018

The majestic setting of Glamis Castle was the venue for the annual Proms in the Park concert, with Grammy-nominated, record-breaking Susan Boyle as the main attraction, supported by some very special guests. We were delighted to produce this prestigious and spectacular event for four years, supplying both event management and artist management.

BEECRAIGS FESTIVE FOREST

THE BRIEF: To produce a four-week Christmas-themed light show in one of Scotland’s best-loved country parks, with attractions, live entertainment and food and drink.WHERE: Beecraigs Country Park, LinlithgowWHEN: November and December 2019

As part of a spectacular, atmospheric and magical family festive experience in the beauty of Beecraigs Country Park near Linlithgow, our specialist team designed and built a stunning 1.5km illuminated trail through the forest, dazzling visitors with breathtaking special effects and music. As part of the trail, we devised refreshment stops, where guests could rest and warm up. The magic of Christmas was also brought to life in other ways. We transformed the visitor centre into an enchanting Santa’s Grotto where children could meet the man himself and his ever-helpful elves. We also set up a special post box for sending letters to the North Pole. Perhaps add (if true) The month-long event brought a huge increase in visitor numbers to the park in what is traditionally a very quiet period of the year.
