    Estimados alumnos, el presente tema es el ltimo tema de la semana, esperando que todo lo aprendido

    aplicarlo en la vida diaria ya sea en la universidad o

    tambin el trabajo, repasar siempre el tema antes de

    ingresar al campus virtual, y repasar siempre lo

    aprendido.

  • SIMPLE PRESENT

    Simple Present Tense means all the actions that you

    can do every day ( Daily routines ).

    It works with the personal pronouns.

    EXAMPLE :

    I go to work every day.

    You study accountant every day.

    We play soccer twice a day.

    They dance salsa every Saturday.

  • I collect stamps.

    He plays baseball.

  • He reads a book.

    She listens to music.

  • Third Person

    She brushes her teeth in the morning.

    He starts his job at eleven o'clock.

    My dog runs very fast.

    En tercera persona a los verbos se le aumenta : s es, o cambia y por i.

  • HE, SHE, IT:

    1) We add es to the base form when the verb ends with ch, sh, s, x, z.

    watch watches

    2) When the verb ends with y and there is a consonant before , we will drop it and add ies.

    fly flies

    3) When a verb ends with y and there is a vowel before, we will NOT drop the y and add just s.

    play plays

    4) Some verbs change:

    have by has in third person

  • A. Fill in the correct from of the verbs in brackets.

    1. Jack is a truck driver. He .. (drive) hundreds of kilometers every day. He.. (love) his work. When he . (drive) he (listen) to the radio.

  • C. Complete the passage with the correct form of the

    verbs.

    Andres parents (have) coffee in the morning, but Andres. (drink) orange juice to drink. At 7.45, Andres (leave).. his house and (walk) to the bus-stop. He (try) not to be late for school. Andres..(come) home from school at 2.00 in the afternoon. He (eat)

    lunch and (do).. his homework. Then he (watch) television, (read) a book or (play) with his friends.

  • NEGATIVE

    I YOU WE DO NOT DANCE EVERY DAY. THEY ( Dont )

    HE SHE DOES NOT DANCE EVERY DAY. IT ( Doesnt)

    NOTE: En el caso de la tercera persona en negativo, los verbos vuelven a su forma original sin s. Ya que doesnt indica que est en tercera persona.

  • EXAMPLES

    1.- He lives in New York

    Negative : He doesnt live in New York.

    2.-They work in an office

    Negative : They dont work in an office.

    3.-Tom and Sandra study every night.

    Negative : They dont study every night.

    4.-The concert starts at 10.

    Negative : It doesnt start at 10.

  • 5.- I GO TO WORK EVERY DAY.

    NEGATIVE:

    6.- WE PLAY SOCCER EVERY DAY.

    NEGATIVE :

    7.-SHE DANCES EVERY DAY.

    NEGATIVE :
