• Classifications: kendra, upachaya, positive bhava

• Significations:

– Karma sthanas (place of actions): worldly actions, ability to move

about in the world with a sense of strength, fortitude and

purpose, rank, prestige, professional status, career or profession.

– Ajjapaka sthana (place of command): authority, power,

leadership

• Kala purusha: knees, a person’s stride
