The decision was made by the Arizona State Board for Charter Schools this month. “We are overjoyed to expand our exceptional curriculum and unique services to become the state’s only Kindergarten through 8 th grade charter school option, with a specialized focus on children with autism,” said Diana Diaz-Harrison, Founder and Director of AZACS. Arizona Autism Charter School’s current Kindergarten through 6 th grade campus is located in Phoenix’s central corridor at 4433 N. 7th St. The school is now seeking a second facility, within three miles of its current location, for its new middle school campus.
