Congratulations on completing the 2010 Honeywell Treasure Hunt! We want to thank you for your participation this year and hope you had an excellent night of fun! The following covers the 2010 Hunt materials, Clue Site solutions and Hunt results showing how each team fared. We recognize our 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners with appropriate individual Trophies based upon the adjusted hunt times taking into account the number of sites/receipts turned in as well as any penalties assessed. We also have special recognition for our Last Place Team. The 1st Place Team gets their names added to the Traveling Trophy and gets to display the Trophy through the coming year. Having demonstrated their prowess in Hunting, our 1st Place Team also becomes our TH2011 Committee and will have the honor and privilege of putting together our 2011 Treasure Hunt next Spring. Our Hunters come together each year in anticipation of a challenging and entertaining Hunt, and they recognize and appreciate the commitment and pride each Committee places in their responsibility. We’re sure our 2011 Committee will do a great job! Our fundraising was a success this year and the details are included below. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. We hope you enjoyed the banquet and prizes. Your voting on the best Sites of TH2010 and the special attention for our Florist Grumpy recognition (hint – it’s not the best site) have been counted and included. We want to thank our Sponsors this year for helping make the Hunt successful. Please honor our sponsors when you have the opportunity! We’ll be looking forward to our 2011 Hunt and hope to see each of you here with us again! Our turnout this year was good. Help increase the turnout for next year! The Hunt is open to all participants, so let others know of our annual event and see if they’ll join us! Go to our Link for ongoing news of the annual Treasure Hunt:

The fund raising we included this year was very successful. Our "Help the Homeless" Clue Site was fun and volunteers Charlie and Terri Lake enjoyed interacting with the teams as they came through. They we so convincing in their role, not only did they have police and security personnel harass them, but a nearby resident came over with a plate of hot food feeling bad for them. We collected 270 lbs of food and $375 for the Foothills Food Bank. The Committee delivered the donations Saturday and they were very happy receive them. They are also looking forward to scheduling time with Team 10 "Gilligan's Islanders" who won 2 hours of community service with Dave in the Raffle. We hope integrating community service in the Hunt will broaden the funding/support we can obtain for the Hunt.

Treasure Hunt Sites – 2010 Voting Results:

At each Award banquet, the Hunters are asked to Rate the Clue Sites. The rating looks for the Top 3 most popular Sites as well as the least popular Site. Voting is done during breakfast and the results shared during the awards ceremony. Top sites are recognized by Hunters for their challenge and creativity! The least popular Site get recognized for a variety of reasons. For some it’s the design, others it’s how it was set up or where it’s located. Often, it’s the concept itself…a real “groaner” that no one gets. This least popular Site is named for the first such Site from the 1995 Hunt – “Florist Grumpy”, where Hunters were to solve an image of Walt Disney’s “Grumpy” holding a bouquet of Flowers in a Florist window as … Forrest Gump! Unfortunately there was another Disney Icon on the Icon sheet which took Hunters off to the wrong location. So each year we include your recognition of the best…and the worst! Here are the 2010 voting results.
