Scott Alger is a member of a group of leading artists, graffiti artists, fashiondesigners and photographers based in New York City. He holds a Masters

from New York University in conjunction with the International Center of

Photography. His work has recently been featured in the fashion/style

magazines Marie Claire, Juxtapoz, BlackBook, PaperMag, SurfacesAvant

Guardian and more. Alger brings a street edge to fashion photography, usinga timed slow exposure, he paints or tags with colour light to create a

dramatic effect.

The Project: WWW4 .COM

Through the medium of Algers unique photograffiti light painting, B2Art presents

Metallic photographic C prints, Live Performance Installations and an accompanying

pictorial ArtBook juxtaposing select contemporary fashion designer creations and

other artists visual works within a context of graffiti tags and baroque styling to

indulge fantastic forays into the realm of a contemporary culture that collapses

distances.

The book will encompass works created while documenting a series of Alger directed

hit-and-run theatrical staging throughout venues of the Biennale Di Venice 2011

The very word "illumination" is what we do when we create. As an example Alger says

I Illuminate the subject and the scene within a dark room and photographically capture

suspended light to create a dramatic narrative. Additionally as a formally trained oilpainter my greatest inspiration who I came to understand while studying in Venice has

been Tintoretto.
