Slide 20 NEGLIGENT TRAINING Courts in certain circumstances have recognized a cause of action for an employers negligent training of its employees that results in injury to a third person. Slide 21 NEGLIGENT SUPERVISION Courts may also recognize the theory of negligent supervision when one employee alleges that the employer should have taken reasonable care in supervising a second employee who is threatening the first employee with violent conduct.
