Courses Offered at IIAD

BA (Hons) Communication DesignThe Communication Design degree at IIAD equips students to create and manipulate various media such as Graphics, Animation, Film, Video, Photography, User Interface Design and Multimedia Applications to convey messages that are effective, appropriate, aesthetic, and contextually relevant to appeal to the audience or user.

BA (Hons) Fashion DesignIIAD has a ‘bespoke educational model’ that promotes the cause of design-thinking. The course focuses equally on creative innovation, technical skill and commercial opportunities. Students are groomed to design for an international audience and establish a cross-cultural reach while ensuring that they have a thorough grounding in local and indigenous crafts, materials and designs.

BA (Hons) Interior Architecture and DesignIIAD’s Interior Architecture and Design program aims to explore the intersection of architecture, conservation, building and design. Our endeavour is to inculcate in students a sound spatial and technical design sense, a thorough knowledge of building materials and lighting and a keen aesthetic, functional and ethical sensitivity to interior and exterior environments.

Eligibility CriteriaCandidates must have appeared/passed the CBSE/ISC/IB (or any other equivalent board) 10+2 examination in any discipline. Candidates who have recently appeared for the examination and are awaiting their results may also apply.

Admission ProcedureThe IIAD follows a TWO-STEP evaluation procedure for admission to its courses. Candidates will have to clear:

IIAD Design Aptitude Test (iDAT) & A comprehensive interview and portfolio assessment

Lateral entry in to the 2nd year of the programme is possible for students who have successfully completed the 1st year of their design degree/diploma form a nationally or internationally recognized Design Institute.
