Being patient and methodical, my wife and I shopped far and wide for the optimal double stroller,and tested many. ThisCity Mini s trollerwas the clear choice. We then used it at the best test sitegoing, ten full days at Walt Disney World parks. Here are the pluses; The stroller folds remarkablyeasily, pull one openly available strap in the seats, and bingo, done, folded nearly flat. Further, youcan very easi ly release and remove the wheels, and then the s troller folds virtually totally flat. Thisstroller is not heavy like most doubles, yet it is built quite solidly. It pushes and turns at a featherstouch. From a standing point, you can make a 180 degree turn smoothely, with no resistance. Thewheels are big enough for a smoothe ride, but not so big that they get in the way, especially whenfolding the stroller. The seats recline very simply, and the versatile hood provides as much sunblock as desired. It also can create a very secure protected space for kids to lounge in. And theseats are set, that it is difficult for the kids to truly bother each other. Get the safety bar access ory,kids love it, and it reduces the need to buckle them in every time you put them in the stroller. There'salso a three cup holder accessory that's useful. There is only ONE flaw with this stroller, thestorage under the seat is difficult to access. It was too small in the older units, but they recently

fixed that. Yet, while it may be bigger, and is a reasonable amount of space, the frame structure ofthe stroller leaves only narrow openings to get stuff into the storage area. So, you cant store largebags down there, you have to use small bags, and or store stuff loose. We found one resolve, is tohang stuff off the handle bar with a huge quick link ("mommy clip"), even though the manufacturersays not to do this . Oh ya, if you actually want to jog with a s troller, then get the City Elite, which issignificantly heavier, and doesn't fold so well, but the wheels are much bigger, allowing you to truly

jog. So there you have it. All said and done, this stroller is THE number one best you can find.Expens ive, but worth it.

i have the trimode ex twin and its the GREATEST thign ever. iit IS pricey, but itcan carry up to four kids because it has the possibility of a toddler seat thatattaches and a stand on board on the back. theyre extra, but not too much.then it also has a bassinet type thing that you can use on the seat for anewborn s o they lay flat vs being in a cars eat. if you look on ebay, you can findthem cheaper. i paid 400 for mine on ebay vs 700-800 on a website that sellsthem.

I would have to say go Graco Duoglider if you are on a budget. Theymake a generally good all around stroller.

Pros:takes carseats(Graco)holds 2 up to 40 pounds(no problem with the toddler)one hand s tandup foldseats lie flatbig cargo basket

stadium seating(rear seat sli ghtly higher then the other)coffee holderfits through mall doors no problem.

cons:inline design can be a big tough to turn tightly, but still turns pretty well.kind of plastic-eemall/sidewalk not nature trails etc.

A great stroller for the money not matter how you look at it.

What Is The Best Rear Facing Double Stroller?I am wondering which is the best double stroller out there.

First off I want to be able to see my children.After that anything goes .I currently have a Stokke Xplory for my daughter (8 months) and love how she is next to meand can interact with me when we are out. My husband and I went testing double strollersthis past weekend and I found nothing I really liked.

I first was thinking the Queen B Bumbleride with toddler seat but the steering was horrible

Next I tried the Peg Perego Duette with steering wheel Wow what a bus!

Next the Contour by Kolcraft seemed very heavy and s till seemed pretty long.

I saw on the internet the Stroll-air Spider Duo looked interesting but cant find it anywhere totest it.

Does anybody have any of these strollers or have any other suggestions?

My kids liked to look at me while they where very young, but once theyrealized there was a world out there they loved to see everything thatwas going on around them. (especially when we go to the park, zoo etc)

You might want to think about one where the older child can face outward andthe infant can face you.

My kids are 3 years apart exactly.

I wanted a double stroller that my toddler could get in and out of wiithout having

My son loves that he has the option to sit when he is tired, or stand on theplatform and ride.

The only drawback.no parent tray. So no where to keep your keys, drink, orcell phone on hand. BUT.looking at this website further today, it looks like themanufacturer has MADE ONE !! Horay! Im go ing to order it too.

i personally would jus t get a regular double s troller, allowing yourchild to stand while the stroller is in motion may result in injury. Thedouble stroller we got, I put our newborn in the back- closest to the handles,where i can watch her(she sits i ncar seat and faces the rear still) and i put our2 yr old in the front, where she can get in and out if need be, plus shed be ableto see everything going on. good luck

The best one is the Peg Perego Duette SW. It has a steering wheel

type handle, which is awesome. The ones that are tandem strollers(front and back) are really hard to push and maneuver and they do it well withthis wheel. Plus, Peg Perego is by far the best carseat on the market forinfants. One thing you dont want to mess around with. However, if youre goingto go with a less expensive seat, it will work with this stroller. The KolcraftContour Options stroller is really cheaply made and is not that great of astroller. However, I do like it better than the Graco ones. I havent tried theGraco Quattro Tour double s trollers , but the other arent good. If youre analabout safety like I am, go with Peg Perego on the stroller and carseats. Itll costan arm and a leg, but itll be SO worth it! It also has the options like thecontour strollerfacing each other or both forward, etc.

the seats set up s o that they face each other. I have th options of having themboth face forward, both face me (or the pusher) or facing opposite. I also likethat it has little handles on the side so when I am walking through a parking lotI can have my 4 year old g rab a handle. The stroller is red and black. Most definitely the Baby Jogger City Select! I have one myself and Ilove it for several reasons

1. Can be used as double, or s ingle when one gets too big for it (and then backagain i f you have another!2. the option of the bassinet casing for a seat, which later converts back, alsolove the carseat adapters very easy to use and rem ove.3. Super easy to fold up, and fold FLAT. All in one simple motion

4. Lots of storage options. The storage area underneath expands, and thehandlebars have lots of accessory options, including full size backpacks. And,they dont tip even when you have a lot of weight on the handle bars .5. Very maneuverable. I live in Boston with legendarily uneven sidewalks. I canget around just fine, and without too much bouncing.6. Accessories: a self leveling drink holder (you have no idea how great that ison hilly roads). Storage cover- compact enough to use as carry-on oninternational flights. Belly bar- instead of food tray (also available) the belly bargives s omething for kids to grab onto and allows them to lean out more. Thiswas perfect for the zoo and watching the duckies go by.7. Adorable! It does not look like any other stroller out there, yet has a nearly oldworld charm in the dark colors (I got black). I get questions all the time on it.8. great if you baby wear- I wore my infant in a wrap while pushing my twins inthe stroller. The handlebar was just the right height for me not to struggle.

Downsides? Can be costly to get new accessories, not the best jogger butwill do ok, not usually on sale.

what is the best double stroller?I have and 18 month old and expecting another li ttle one. by the time i have thebaby my son will be 2 years old . so im looking for a double stroller that i can put an infantseat on it i was looking at the Combi twin sport stroller which i liked but the review werentthat good on it. I need one that will be sturdy easy to maneuver light and that will last long. ican go look at the store but its best getting someones opinion who has one.. Thanks somuch!

Omgosh the bes t double s trollers when you have a l ittle one that

stands and by then he probably wont like sitting as much is the sit nstand. It gives you the option of him s itting of standing up right by you and theinfant is in the front. It is amazing. And the infant carrier can snap right on.

What is the best double stroller to buy?I have an 18 month old and Im 7.5 weeks pregnant with our 2nd. Im looking atdouble strollers, but there are different kinds. Side by Side, the front and back and and sitand stand kind. My son will be almos t 26 months when this baby is born so what is thebest??

It really depends on what your son is like when hes 26 months old.If he cant stand to be tied down or seated perhaps a stroller that hasa boogie board a s tep on place for an older child to stand on at times might be a good thing, many Peg Perego have this built in and for some youcan add one on. better for little babies to face the parent pushing the stroller, and youd wantsomething that can be turned around later. The tandem ones are very hard topush often, and hard to turn, but they can fit in aisles well, the side by side aregreat when they are well m ade and turn easily but they are often very wide andare really only good for outside walks. So what you will want depends on whatkind of activities you see yourself doing and where you will be using a stroller.

Id just wait until your son is 2 years old and decide then.

I think tandem buggies are best there are a lot of narrow pathswhere I live and a side by side would be murder. Try going onGumtree or Ebay as there are normally quite a few going on there secondhand, even Phil & Teds, and you might get a bargain.

Best double stroller for long walks around the city?I need a rec for a double stroller- for a 2 year old and newborn. I like to take longwalks (1-2 hours) so it has to be sturdy, dependable and comfortable. Not too worried aboutcar travel as I will be carrying the infant in a baby bjorn on outings. The phil and teds lookpretty neat but Im worried about sun protection. Please tell me your stroller successstories!

i have twins and have gone through a few strollers so far. i reallydont reccommend a tandem style unless you go with the colcraftcontour. the city joggers are nice, but either way jus t check them out for all thefeatures you want my new one is Grand Safari Double Jogger, i dont use it for

jogging but youll find the joggers are much smoother of a ride. dont worry toomuch about the sun canopy when getting the stroller since you can buy one(kiddapotamus i beleive). just go on babies rus.com and check them all outthey have a great selection.

I really like my Baby Trend double tandem s troller. You can put the

infant carrier in the front or back seat, and there is an extra strap tosecure the seat. The trays and canopies are removeable, and the back part ofthe stroller converts to a sit and stand stroller. I got mine at Babies R Us forabout $170.

What is the best double stroller that will accomodate a chicco infant car seat?I contacted the company and there isnt many, but i was wondering if anyone hada good experience with one over the other. I havent made my decision if i want a side byside or tandem.

I have a toddler that will be about 21 months when the baby is born..

Graco Duoglider. Its the lightest, best quality stroller at a reasonableprice. It folds up kind of long, so make sure you look at it in person tomake sure trunk space wont be an issue. It also accomodates any Gracoinfant car seat.

What is the best double stroller to purchase that isnt too expensive?Ive been looking at the Graco duo glider which sells for about $160. Ive askedsome mothers how they like theirs and they seem to be okay with it but not exactly thrilledwith it either. Does anyone have a double stroller that they like and could recommend? Ineed to stay under $200. Thanks!

Schwinn makes a double stroller that is 200. If you can find a way tspend more I have the Phil and Ted and I love it. Worth every penny.
