» Likes to make sounds in response to mum, dad, family and friends
» Can lift their head and chest during tummy time
» Start to move, roll and crawl
» Plays with their feet and toes.

Tips for mum and dad: » Face your baby with them sitting on
your knees or while supporting them on the floor
» Talk to your baby using words about what they can see and hear
» Read to your baby, make sounds and pull faces.
Activities for your baby: » Put toys near your baby during tummy
time so they can roll, wriggle or crawl to them
» Play peek-a-boo
» Give your baby a toy or spoon to hold.
