BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN

CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING2014-2015 ACADEMIC YEAR

INTRODUCTION

The specialised training provided by the bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering will equip you to manage and carry outconstruction projects in public works engineering specialisations: civil construction, hydrology, and transport and urban services. Youwill get a solid grounding in the planning, design, construction and management of civil engineering projects and infrastructure: roads,bridges, dams and water treatment plants, rail networks and ports, logistics systems, and economic and spatial planning. You will alsolearn to perform calculations, conduct surveys, carry out studies, and prepare reports for any business operating in the sectors inwhich civil engineering plays a role.

Regulated profession • Technical public works engineer.• Civil engineer (after obtaining the master’s degree in Civil Engineering). This bachelor’s degree andthe master’s degree in Civil Engineering make up an integrated academic programme.

Duration 4 years

Study load 240 credits (including the bachelor's thesis). One credit is equivalent to a study load of 25-30 hours.
