WHAT IS BACK TO BACK DESIGN WORKS, Inc?

Back to Back Design Works, Inc is a new era in double-sided studio set design and manufacturing. The set designs at Back to Back are created by photographers and for photographers. They range from timeless and romantic to rugged, textured and full of con-trast to clean and traditional. There will always be a design and/or look that works for you and your customers.

WHAT IS A STUDIO SET?

A studio set from Back to Back Design Works, Inc is a series of backgrounds and floors, which work in conjunction with a group of walls, props and pieces to become a double-sided and modular photographers portrait wonderland.

WHAT WILL A PROFESSIONAL BACK TO BACK SET DO FOR MY STUDIO?

A studio set is an environment, which has four primary purposes.To create a photographic experience for your customers, that they will never forget. One they will tell all of their friends about.To take a small area and give it the illusion of size and location, while at the same time making it functional!To assist in creating a piece of portrait art, which has painting-like qualities. Done correctly, this will enhance portrait sales and sittings.To assist in bringing out our customers creative juices and to inspire creativity and excitement.

WHAT IS IT MADE OF?

Each set is carved from Expanded Polystyrene. After laminates are applied to the high traffic areas, the sets are then coated in a NEW and IMPROVED, ultra strong coating. When our super strong Double-Coat protection is added, the sets can be used and left outside. Once finished the sets are lightweight and extremely durable.

CAN THEY GO ON LOCATION?

Of course! Virtually all pieces are designed to fit inside a mini-van and/or be quickly and easily taken apart to allow for transportation. They are certainly tough enough!

“When we saw the new Beauty and the Beast set we just knew it was an investment that would set us apart from our competition. We photograph a lot of senior portraits and the kids really enjoy having a look that is unique. The seniors want a session and images, they can’t wait to show off to their friends, and in turn this books us more sessions. We want to be the buzz…it really means more than you know to the kids.

The set has an unbelievable look to it and photographs so real it’s amazing. On numerous occasions we have had clients come into the studio, see a studio sample print, which was shot on the set, and ask where in town we created that image! When we explain it was done right in the studio on a set, they are blown away. That speaks volumes about who we are as a studio and quickly sets us apart from the wanna-be photographers and soccer moms with digital cameras.

The set is very versatile! The looks and combinations are virtually endless. The Beauty side is great for bridals and formals and it has a real timeless look to it. The Beast side brings a very cool and edgy feel and is great for guys and all seniors who want to show some attitude.
