Requesting an E-List• After your job has closed you may request the e-list from your

Applicant Services liaison via email.• Please be sure to include the requisition and recruitment numbers in

your request.

Retrieving an E-List

• When an e-list is made available, you will find it under the “E-Lists” tab by clicking “View Certified List(s)”.

Viewing an E-List• Expand the folder for the corresponding recruitment and click “View

Referral Report”.

Viewing an E-List• Clicking the applicant’s name opens their application

Working an E-List • Always look for

Veterans Preference points. • Veterans with 10pts.

top of list status must be interviewed and offered the job unless disqualifications apply.• 10pts. preference and

5pts. preference within the top 10 must be interviewed.

Pass for Cause Process

Agency sends request to HCM.

HCM sends certified letter to applicant with a copy of request and 10

days to appeal.

Applicant protest.HCM forwards to agency.

Agency requests continuance.

HCM approves and sends memo from the

administrator to agency.

HCM sends electronic notification to applicant with MPC appeal rights.

Old

Agency sends request to HCM.

HCM sends electronic & certified notification to applicant with MPC

appeal rights.

HCM sends approval email to agency when

the process is complete.

Working an E-List • Hires must be within the “Rule

of 10”.• Eligible applicants who apply

through the optional disability hiring program will appear at the end of the list with no score. They can be hired in lieu of Veteran’s Preference and the rule of 10.

• Email notices can be sent to applicants through the e-list.

Coding an E-List• Select the

appropriate action code for each applicant.• The action date is

the day decisions are made.• For each hire include

the EOD date in the comment section along with any other information you deem necessary.

Returning an E-List

• To return the list, type your name in the box and click “Return List to HR-by:”
