ient for working families I understand)

but when the children are here I really

like to try and be on the floor with them

and my educators. If you would like to

make time to see me I try to be an ex-

tra person around on Tuesdays and

Thursdays nights.

UPCOMING IMPORTANT DATES:

Friday, March the 6th Pupil Free Day bookings are now open. If you require a book-

ing please fill out the Weebly form via www.tcboshc.weebly.com or write your child’s name

on the paper based booking form located at the sign in desk at OSHC.

Tasharni will be getting Married and going on her Honeymoon during the

upcoming April Vacation Care and then she will be going on Maternity Leave

in July.

Hayley has a full time teaching contract next door at Montessori. You will still

see her face at OSHC in Vacation Care.

Nat has been given the opportunity to represent Australia overseas for Ice

Hockey. She is travelling to Akureyri Iceland to compete in the National Wom-

en’s Ice Hockey Federations World Championships 2020.

Brushing your teeth is a huge importance for all children and adults.

Here at OSHC we encourage children in Before School Care to brush

their teeth after they eat breakfast.

We have a limited range of brand new Colgate toothbrush packs to provide one to each

child that will be a part of this program. *Numbers are limited*

We will then also provide your child with a toothbrush head cover and toothpaste. The

toothbrushes are kept in a hygienic location within the service.

Please see an educator to get your child’s new toothbrush.

Flower Rings

Each night children are offered the opportunity to complete their homework with their

peers and our educators amongst our ‘knowledge tree”.

The homework system is aimed to encourage students to complete their homework each

night as well as being able to do their homework in a social setting to make it enjoyable.

Homework time is proving to be a fun and engaging system. We offer multimedia use such

as the computer, we provide creative homework opportunities such as the whiteboard and

butchers paper for spelling words , sensory tools to engage children to solve math's

problems and we can listen to children read their sight words and readers.
