    Backs to Board game

    review of

    vocabulary/phrasal

    verbs

    Lets start by playing a game its called hot set or backs

    to the board. Have any of you played this game before?

    Let me explain. You will be in 2 groups. One person from

    each group will come and sit here on these chairs with

    their backs to the board. Whoever comes and sits here

    cannot turn and look at the board. I will write a word onthe board and the team members have to help them the

    guess the word by describing it. You cannot tell them the

    word itself but you can describe it. The person who

    shouts out the word first his team will get a point.

    The words I will write are from the vocabulary and

    phrasal verbs taught by Ms. Shiney and Ms. Shilpy on

    Sunday.

    Model it with Shilpy and Anika.

    Vocabulary:

    Argument, Nickname, Supplied, Found, Relocated,

    Market leaders

    Phrasal verbs:

    Grow up, Bring up, Tell off, Take after, Look after, Get

    on, Look up to, Carry on

    In pairs of 2can you discuss what are the different

    types/genres of films like action. You have 1 minute

    Class feedback. What do you think a documentary film is?What about drama? What is a docu-drama?

    If they dont know then explain to them using points

    written on the board about documentary, drama and

    docu-drama.

    have 1 minute to do this.

    Now discuss question 4. You have 1 minute to discuss.
