HISTORY

Engineer Mian Muhammad Parvez Rana is the founder of the company i2cs2, i.e. Integrated Industrial

Compliance Strategies Solution. Mr. Rana planned his career as an entrepreneur, it had been his desire

after completion of his graduation he would start his career as an employee in a private owned company,

acquiring a certain professional experience from his job life, he would start his career as an entrepreneur.

His first company was named as Props Engineering Solution since 2009. It was a simply engineering firm.

He had been involved in Bureau Veritas Bangladesh (Pvt) Ltd, Asset Developments Ltd, Disha

Engineering Ltd, Kapotakkho Real Estate Ltd, Farhat Consulting Engineers & Architects Ltd etc. Actually,

ACCORD The Accord on Fire and Building Safety in Bangladesh (the Accord) was signed on May 15th 2013. It is a five year independent, legally binding agreement between global brands and retailers and trade unions designed to build a safe and healthy Bangladeshi Ready Made Garment (RMG) Industry. The agreement was created in June 2013, an implementation plan was agreed leading to the incorporation of the Bangladesh Accord Foundation in the Netherlands in October 2013.

Alliance The Alliance for Bangladesh Worker Safety (Alliance) is a legally binding, five-year commitment to improve safety in Bangladeshi ready-made garment (RMG) factories. The Alliance was organized in 2013 through the Bipartisan Policy Center with discussions convened and chaired by former U.S. Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell (D-ME) and former U.S. Senator Olympia Snowe (R-ME), both of whom have a strong track record of forging consensus-oriented solutions. The collaborative process involved apparel industry companies and stakeholders including: the U.S. and Bangladeshi governments, policymakers, NGOs, members of civil society, and organized labor.

ILO Only tripartite U.N. agency, since 1919 the ILO brings together governments, employers and workers representatives of 186 member States , to set labour standards, develop policies and devise programmes promoting decent work for all women and men. he unique tripartite structure of the ILO gives an equal voice to workers, employers and governments to ensure that the views of the social partners are closely reflected in labour standards and in shaping policies and programmes. Now ILO is working with Bangladesh government to make the industries compliant.
