I am a self-motivated hard working individual with 30 years experience from Apprenticeship to Senior Manager.

Knowledge & experience within Medium & Heavy Fabrication, Rail, Power, Rotating Equipment, Oil & Gas, Nuclear and NDE (NDT) industries, Quality Assurance and Quality Control of Rail Welding, Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, HRSG, Economizers, Superheaters, Reheaters, Structural Steelwork, Conveyor Systems, Valves, Rotating equipment (Pumps).

During the last 15 years I have experienced career development to senior managerial level, with responsibilities relating to development and maintenance of effective quality assurance management systems, including; quality planning, preventive & corrective action, non-conformance management (NCR), 8D, FMEA, Ishikawa, A3 processes, development of effective continual improvement strategies, monitoring and measurement of product and processes, management review, leading/development of the audit process, including external vendors. Change management, statistical data analysis, performance management, improvement processes and goal setting.

Position: Quality ManagerCompany: Sulzer Pumps (UK) (August 2012 – Present Day)Description: Responsible for mapping, development & implementation of new QMS associated to the manufacture of Pumps for the Oil, Gas, Power & Utilities industries. Continuing maintenance of ISO9001 certification for Sulzer aftermarket and service divisions. Management of quality team including Q.A. Engineer, Certification Controller, Administrator & G.I. Inspectors. Reporting of quality KPI’s (Warranties, NCR’s, Customer Complaints) to Senior Management. Driving continual improvement through audit RCA process. Use of 5 whys, fishbone, A3 methodologies.

Position: Welding Engineer Company: Ardeth Engineering Ltd (Jan 2012 – July 2012) Description: Management and control of all welding, welding inspection personnel (30 Staff). Creating new pWPS/PQR/WPS as required and problem solving. Working to ASME VIII, ASME B31.3 (S,U, U2 stamps) and EN pressure vessel specifications (PED) within oil, gas, mining, power (nuclear, fossil and green) and utility industries.
