SharingviaportalloginIftheissuingorganizationforyourBadgeCertinvitesyoutologintotheplatform,youwillbeprovidedauniqueuserpassword.YoucanlogintotheplatformwiththeURLprovidedinthemessage,orgotohttps://badgecert.com/login.Youwillinstantlybeaskedtoupdateyourpassword.Thereareanumberofwaystoshareyourbadge.Youcanalsoun-shareyourbadgeforenhancedprivacy.PortalLoginSharingFeatures:

UpdateprofileInitially,youwillbeaskedtoupdateyourpasswordtoaminimum6-characteralphanumericphrasewithatleastonecapitalletterandonenumber.Thereafter,clickonyournameinthetoprightcorner(Figure2a)andyoucanedityourprofile,includingupdatingapicture.Phoneisoptionalandmaybeusedbyanissuertosendyouatextmessagenotificationthatacredentialisexpiring.Figure2a&b:Earnereditprofilepage

Additionally,youcanmodifyyouremailpreferencesintheeditprofilepagebyclickingtheaddalternateemailaddressesbutton(Figure2b).Toaddalternateemails:Onceyouhaveclickedon'Addalternateemailaddresses'button->enterthealternateemailandclick'AddEmail'button.Averificationemailwillbesenttothealternateemailaddedwhichwillhaveaverificationlink.Clickonthelinkandverifytheemail.Youralternateemailwillnowbeaddedsuccessfully.(SeeFigure3)

SharingwithintheBadgeCertportfolioPublicgroupanduniquecodeFromtheMyBadgePortfolioview,youcaneasilysharebadgesinthe“PublicGroup”(seeFigure4bottomright)withtheuniquecodefoundintheupperrightcorner(Figure4).Bydefault,thisgroupwillbeempty.Ifyouclickontheuniquecodelinkwhenthe“Public”grouphasnobadges,youwillseeamessage:“NobadgesinpublicprofileORallthebadgeshaveexpired.”Youwillneedtodraganddropbadgestothis“Public”grouptoseethebadgesfromyouruniquecode.YouwillneedtodraganddropbadgestothisPublicGroup.Thisisagoodoptionforsharingbadgesonanemailsignatureorresumeasyoucanmanageitorupdateitfromyourportfolioatanytime.Youcanalsoemailthisgrouptosomeonebyclickingtheenvelopeicon.SinglebadgesharingYoucanshareanysinglebadgebyclickingonthebadgeandthenclicking“share”(Figure5a).Thiswillopenanoverlaywindow(Figure5b)thatgivesyoutheabilitytosharethebadgeonyoursocialmediaorasanemail.Ifyousharethebadgeasanemail,therecipientreceivesamessagethatthebadgeportfolioisbeingsharedwithhim/her.

IfyouwanttoobtainasinglebadgeweblinkinordertoshareitmanuallyonawebsiteoryourOutlook/gmailsignature,youmustsendthebadgetoyourownemailaddressanditwillgiveyoutheuniqueurl.Youcanalsoobtainthesinglebadgeurlweblinkinyourinitialissuanceemail.

SharingabadgegroupIfyouwanttosharemultiplebadgesatatimeonasingleweblink,youcancreateadditionalsharinggroupsbyselecting“CreateGroup”onthebottomleft-handsideofthecirculargroups(Figure6a).Onceyouhavecreatedasharinggroup,youmaydragbadgesfrom“Allbadges”atthetopofthescreenintothegroup(Figure6b).Youwillnoticethebadgecounterincrease.Youcanclickonthegrouptoseethebadges.
