K40 Manual Bag Dump Station

Kockums K40 Bag Dump station is a generously sized and ergonomically designed enclosure for easy and safe emptying of bags. The system is available with an integral dust management system and waste bag compactor for clean and contained disposal of the waste bags. This bag dumping system is capable of handling up to 3 bags/min, but higher rates may be achieved with efficient operators.

Clean Design & Check Sieving

The ‘Sievmaster Easilift’ station is a clean and simple means of check sieving into bins or containers. Most bag dumping units require an operator to lift the hood manually to gain full access to the sieve unit. The Easilift has a flip top hood which is assisted so there is no lifting required to open the unit. The hood is also designed to take a 25kg bag length wise making it easier to split and tip the contents into the sieve below.

Automatic Bag Opener

The K400 automatic bag opener has been developed to accommodate a broad range of bags yet remain simple and reliable in operation. Efficient separation of the bag remnants from the material with negligible material carry-over and degradation, is achieved.

Typical operating rates are up to 600 bags/hr subject to bag construction and material characteristics.

The system operates by feeding bags through an in-feed chute which houses a series of rotating blades. The bag is slit along it’s length on top and/or bottom prior to entering a trommel drum. The rotating trommel drum gently tumbles the bag emptying the contents within. The contents drops through perforations into the feed hopper below where an optional secondary catch screen is located. The empty bags continue on through the trommel towards the bag compactor where they are compressed into a sealed tubular waste bag for clean and easy disposal.
