PPA-DOJ ADMINISTRATOR CONDUCTS

CONFERENCE IN DAVAO

The Hon. Administrator Manuel G. Co of the Parole and

Probation Administration, on the occasion of his first working

visit, had a half-day conference and lectures with personnel of

the Parole and Probation Offices of Region XI on March 30,

2012 at the Brokenshire Resort and Convention Center, Madapo

Hills, Davao City.

The Hon. Administrator Manuel G. Co of the Par

and Probation Administration, on the occasion of his fi

working visit, had a half-day conference and lectures wpersonnel of the Parole and Probation Offices of Region XI

March 30, 2012 at the Brokenshire Resort and Conventi

Center, Madapo Hills, Davao City.

Before proceeding to the venue of the conference a

lectures, the good Administrator visited the three Parole a

Probation Offices of the city namely: the DCPPO 1, DCPPO

and DCPPO 3, all located at the Hall of Justice Buildin

Ecoland, serving the first, second and third districts of Dav

City, respectively.

The preliminaries and the welcome address of tRegional Director Atty. Leo S. Carillo, formally opened t

conference and lectures proper at around 10:00 a. m. with t

administrator as the lone speaker throughout the conferen

and lectures.The sessions were attended by the CPPOs,OI

and PPOs of all field offices including the personnel of t

regional staff.

The lectures dwelled mainly on the new BPP ru

and on the orientation to the amended Pre-Parole/Execut

Clemency Investigation Report (PPIR/PECIR) a

Community Interview (C.I.) forms to be used by concern

Field Offices in the conduct of PPIR/PECIR and CI. Tspeaker underscores that the Board of Pardons and Paro

under its governing law is authorized to adopt rules a

regulations as may be necessary for carrying out its functio

and duties although averred that it does not regard any su

hard and fast rules to this effect.
