• Tolerance of being late is 15 minutes.

Participation• This means a combination of vocal

contribution, on time arrival, attendance, on-time submission of assignments, and attention during class session. Participation also requires that you have your class materials with you in class.

Personal Conduct• Keep the class clean.

• Keep the phones off or turn the phones into the silent mode.

• All members of the class should respect each other.

• Have a positive attitude and participate in all class activities.

at any time other than the end of class unless you have a genuine emergency.

• Pay attention, listen, and not be disruptive.

• English is spoken as a way of interaction.

Assignment

• Late assignments will not be accepted.

• No plagiarism.

Assessment and Grading• Evaluation 1 (workbook submission, class

participation and activities, writing task, and quiz) will be graded 25 % out of the total score accumulated.

• Evaluation 2 (group presentation on selected materials) will be graded 25 %.

• Evaluation 3 (web blog interactive and final exam) will be graded 30 % out of the total score accumulated.

• Lab Work will be graded 20 %.
