Market Summary ReportMarch 2015

Dear Customer,

In order to briefly summarise the current main trends in thecommodities markets we have outlined some of the key “moversand shakers”. We are able to provide you with additional detailabout any of these upon request through our Sales, Telesales orPurchasing Depts.

Fats andOils - Soyabean Oil and Palm Oil Prices fell in Rotterdamdue to an increase in Global Production. Palm kernel oil pricesrose in Malaysia following floods that disrupted transportationand processing. Rapeseed Oil prices fell in Rotterdam (-2%),following good supplies. Extra Virgin olive oil prices rose in Italy6% following falls in December. Prices also rose in Spain 6%following continued dry conditions.

Wheat - The potential trade agreement between the world’sbiggest importer (Egypt) and one of the world’s key exporters(Russia) is potentially damaging for other wheat suppliers. Theexport tariff as of the 1st of Feb is at least €35 per tonne.December saw strong no-EU wheat exports but as yet not strongenough given the size of the 2014 crop. If UK wheat continues tostruggle in the most world markets, despite favourable currencymovements, UK prices may have to discount further to worldmarkets in order to stimulate sufficient export demand.

Dairy - Although January saw prices of Milk Powders and butteronly slightly increased, early February has experienced a suddenand unexpected price rally. A lack of available milk, due to EUcountries avoiding paying super levy, combined with low stockforecasts from New Zealand and favourable export prices fromthe EU has credited a panic fuelled demand from short coveredbuyers. Butter prices and Skim Milk Powders have increased.

Ingredients - US and Spanish almond prices have risen furtherby 5% supported by tight supplies and concerns over theongoing drought in the largest producer California. Hazelnutprices have increased 9% in the EU due to reduced supplies andstrengthening of the Turkish Lira. In Turkey, dried apricot pricescontinued their downward trend while raisins and sultanas bothrose.

Energy - Brent crude oil prices fell due to increased supply fromnon-EU countries combined with a weakening outlook fromglobal economic growth. Prices for Diesel fell - 17% and Petrol -15% in Europe influenced by the drop in crude oil prices.
