High adoption of ILRI-CSISA promoted balance concentrate feed on subsidized basis.
Higher degree of encouragement for ILRI-CSISA promoted balance feed among beneficiary farmers but less adoption.
Possible Causes: Higher cost than market feed. No timely availability of balanced concentrate feed
promoted by ILRI-CSISA in required quantity. Business development – No any farmer is taking interest
to prepare CSISA promoted balance concentrate feed at large scale for business (Except 5-6 farmers).
No facility of loan for purchase of ILRI-CSISA promoted balance concentrate feed.
Problems in scaling-out
![Page 11: Balanced concentrate feed field trial results in Samastipur and Muzaffarpur](https://reader033.vdocuments.net/reader033/viewer/2022061218/54b713b14a795912448b495e/html5/thumbnails/11.jpg)
Collaborate with leading Institutions in Bihar for scaling-out of feeding technology to a larger group of farmers
480 dairy farmers to be part of trials in (Vaishali, Arwal, Ara and Begusarai) districts of Bihar under ILRI-CSISA promoted balance concentrate feed through SHGs
96 trainings on feeding and demonstrations of technologies
400 dairy farmers under mineral mixture feeding trials
400 dairy farmers under efficient utilization of maize stover with nutritive enrichment in (Samastipur, Vaishali, Muzaffarpur and Begusarai) districts (major maize producing areas) of Bihar
Training of interested farmers to act as LRPs
