From Mrs Gittoes Desk Week 7 and the classrooms are a hive of
activity with assessments, teachers completing units of work, play rehearsals, dance and marimba practise,
report writing, Christmas art and craft, Annual School Report surveys being collated, P&C meetings and Mrs Davidson is doing a splendid job in
the office preparing for the Annual School Rollover and organising all the invitations, book prizes and other paperwork for the concert.
Play Rehearals All students are eagerly participating in their play
rehearsals and it is going to be brilliant on the night. We certainly do have some talented actors and actresses, dancers and singers. Could all parents please be aware that the main play
rehearsals are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from 2pm until 3pm. Miss Devine also comes on Thursdays to do dance and marimbas with
K-6. Attached to this week's newsletter is a list of costumes that each child needs to bring to school for the
concert. All girls in K-2 need a pair of white ankle socks with a lace edge and the boys need a pair of white socks.
Many thanks to our wonderful P&C who will be organising a delicious country style meal for after the concert.
Reports At the present time all teachers are writing student
reports and they will be handed out in week 10.
Survey To determine your satisfaction of the school a parent
satisfaction survey has been attached to this newsletter. It would be appreciated if you could fill in all the sections and return it to school by the end of
next week. This is only a voluntary survey. Lamb and Potato Festival
Again the P&C have kindly offered to support this festival in 2013. Gazebo Dates
Friday 18th January 2pm until 8pm Monday 21st January 5pm-8pm. Night Watching Wednesday 16th January 9pm until 6pm
Please keep these dates in mind - a roster will be going out later.
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
Students from Years 3 to 6 have been
extremely busy preparing for the W.W.C.F by
making props, rehearsing scenes and
practicing dances. Students have memorised
their lines and are now working without
scripts. K-2 have now joined in for whole
school rehearsals and are doing a fantastic
job.

PUBLIC EDUCATION – Our Students are Australia’s Future
Happy Birthday to: Farren Lyon who celebrated his 9th
Birthday last Saturday 18th November.
End of Year - Green Valley Farm Excursion K-6
On Monday 17th December our students will be travelling by bus to Green Valley Farm for a day
of fun. The children will travel by bus and the cost will be
$8.00 per student which will cover the museum and water activities. Please fill out the attached permission
note and return to school by Wednesday 5th December.
Healthy Lifestyle
Our students are to be commended on their positive attitude towards our school's
Crunch and Sip program. All students from K-6 consistently bring along a piece of fruit to
eat every day, they have a water bottle and a number of students are achieving a nude lunch box. A fantastic effort! Many thanks to Brooke and Skye who are excellent at
‘rounding up’, any litter from around the playground. These girls often take it upon themselves because they value our environment and their school. Well done
girls! This week in K-2 personal development lessons they were revising the correct use of a toothbrush. At the
conclusion of the lesson all students including years 3-6 received a new toothbrush and tube of toothpaste. Some children didn't realise that you need to replace
your toothbrush on a regular basis.
