There was an inc re ase in total units sold in Marc h, with 530 sold this month in Baltimore County ve rsus 341 last month, an inc rease of 55%. This month's total units sold was higher than at this time last year, an inc rease of 20% ve rsus Marc h, 2009. The c urrent month's total is lowe r than the twe lve month ave rage of 559.

Versus last ye ar, the total number of homes available this month is lower by 401 units or 9%. The total number of ac tive

inventory this Marc h was 4,067 c ompared to 4,468 in Marc h, 2009. This month's total of 4,067 is higher than the previous

month's total supply of available inventory of 3,876, an inc rease of 5%.

Last Marc h, the me dian sale pric e in Baltimore County was $230,000. This Marc h, the median sale pric e was $216,625, a dec rease of 6% or $13,375 c ompared to last year. The c urrent median sold pric e is 0.2% lower than in February.

Median sale price is the middle sale price in a given month. The same number of properties are above & below the median.

inc rease of 32%. The re were 911 c urrent c ontrac ts pending sale this Marc h c ompared to 528 a year ago. The number of

c urrent c ontrac ts is 99% highe r than last month.

This month, the ave rage number of days on marke t was 89, lower than the ave rage last year, whic h was 106, a dec rease of 16%.

In Marc h, the ave rage sale pric e in Baltimore County was 96.1% pe rc ent of the ave rage list pric e , whic h is 1.3% higher than at this time last year.

In Marc h, the re was 7.7 months of supply available in Baltimore County, c ompared to 10.1 in Marc h, 2009. That is a dec rease of 24% ve rsus a year ago.
