Above is the main image I used on the double page spread of my final music magazine, the image is of the feature artist Lily Wilkinson. The images above shows the significant different between the raw image I took and the edited version of the same image. I have increased the quality of the image for my final page. I felt the raw image was too dull and bland. I have increased the brightness/ contrast and the vibrancy of the image by adding an adjustment layer.

Once I had added brightness/contrast adjustment layer the image became more defined and colourful. I then increased the vibrance and saturation of the image to make it more eye catching. The image became more vibrant and highlighted the golden colour of the artist’s hair and the redness in her lips which contrasts well with the red in the colour scheme of the music magazine.
