The purpose of this application is to provide a vali typespecies for the genus Indodorylimus Ali & Prabha 1974 because

the originally esignate type species was misientifie The factsare as follows2 Yeates 1970 escribe Thoenem wickeni from

female specimens only Ali & Prabha 1974 escribe a populationcollecte in Inia consisting of both sexes an misientifie it as Twckeni. They escribe the tails of the males as similar to those ofthe females

3. As the male an female tails are issimilar in ThoenemAnrssy 199, Ali & Prabha 1974 propose a new genusIndodorylmus an esignate T wickeni as the type species

amphis are ifferently shape n the paratypes the cuticle is finelystriate an the expane part of the oesophagus is not highlymuscular as against the coarsely striate cuticle an highlymuscular expane basal part of the oesophagus in Ali & Prabhasspecimens The vulva an vagina are also ifferently shape Thisshows clearly that the specimens on which Inddorylimus Ali &Prabha 1974 was base were misientifie The species that wasbefore Ali & Prabha has no vali name The name Indodorylimuselongtus is here propose for it
