Having experienced its own interlude ofpaper money meltdownwell before the

west had developed its version of such schemes, the Eastern Empire hadshifted over to a copper/silver regimen that served well enough throughthe centuries which followed. It was the high demand for silver broughtabout by it being currency in China that had provided the original impetusfor western sailing ventures to the Far East. The financiers who backedthose voyages received tremendous profit from arbitraging the differencein the gold/silver ratio between east and west. With the ratio in the West

varying from 12:1 to 16:1 throughout the centuries, in the Far East it stoodat 8:1 to as low as 6:1. . Without the arbitrage trade, there would have beenlittle to support the wests China sailings, as the Europeans manufacturedlittle of interest to the Chinese to exchange for the commodities theycoveted.

The international sea trade of the Orient took place within a longstandingAsian commercial zone. It was bounded by the Red Sea, Indian Ocean Seaof Japan, Straits of Malacca, through which the Islamic, Hindu andBuddhist worlds made trade with the Far Eastern ports. Contrary to the

fancies peddled by some amateur historians popular with the goldbugcrowd, little in the way of trade exchangewas conducted with the foreigndevils of the west before the C19th century. A relative backwater in theglobal scheme of things, until Spanish silver from the Americas pouredinto the East, Europe was not a major player in the trade of far Eastern

Asia; its preference ran more to international pillage, and colonization.Watch the same dynamics of yesteryear now proceed in reverse, until Euro-merika achieves the same backwater status again!

Up until gunboat diplomacy of the C19th forced open the gates of theCelestial Empire to the barbarians with their cargoes of opium, silver was

gradually assuming control of European governments dictated that theEnglish navy act as its enforcer in creating and maintaining a market fortheir Indian opium in the Chinese ports of call.

Much later, the industrialized west would ship east some of theirtechnological wonders, but by that time they had replaced Chinese teas

with that of their Indian colonies, and likewise reduced their need ofChinas porcelainware. In true buccaneer fashion, the western privateershad managed to reverse the roles so that the Chinese had to disgorge theirsilver for imports, limiting to a small strata of the rich those who couldafford the fruits of the wests industrial production.

For nearly a century the Asian nations have striven to catch up to the westin theemployment of science to the service of technological advancement. Thanks to the

wealth they have accumulated from their recent phase of manufacturingmercantilism, they are now at the point of being able to reexamine theirpast traditions with an eye to fusing the best of them with the advances of

their modernized systems of production! As witnesses to the depredationsthat western monopoly finance capitalism has imposed upon them in thepast, at this point it can be confidently predicted that the Asians will gladlyadapt and modify whatever they can of the western worlds technologicaland financial instruments... but will do so in a manner in keeping with Sun

Tzus'Arts of War.

While the East hopes that this war will run its course in economic form,the puppet governments of the West seem to be itching for a hot war to

break out. As the military auxiliaries of the financial interests inlongstanding control of the western bloc make every effort to form a wallof containment around the Asian economic superpower re-born in theaftermath of Deng Xiao Pengs capitalist roader reforms, those sametendencies towards crude and violent aggression must weigh heavily onthe minds of Chinas leaders. With the dollar operating in a role similar to

The scientific-technological paradigm that brought the western world toglobal hegemony has failed to deliver it from a coming collapse, andcountries once spellbound by the power of the west's technologicalascendance now re-align themselves to new,freertrade alliances, andmultipolar power relationships. As the West is forced to retreat from its

various Asian outposts like Afghanistan, the source of illicit black opsfunds which supports its various proxy wars and meddling in the MiddleEast will dry up leading to a power vacuum to be quickly filled by moreadept players.

Our little vignette of the meeting of two very different cultures showedhow the Chinese evinced complete abhorrence of what they viewed asbarbaric intruders from a land without the benefit of custom or culture.

Not unlike the 'wild Indians' barred from the streets of colonial Americantowns, the Imperial decree limited the movements and spread of thesedangerous 'western ghosts' - just as the Japanese were to effectively bar the

western devils from all commercial activity, and even landing on theirshores, for over a century.

wealth. In so doing, they will doubtless forge new social and economicarrangements that have little or nothing to do with the neo-liberal or socialdemocratic ideologies of the western lands. It may well be the fate ofallEuropean- bred ideologies -from 'capitalism' to 'communism' - to go the

way of the dodo in this millennium, as the world tires of the'invisible hand'of the moneypowersetting up and knocking down it's puppets and princelings,time and again!

The long history of metal-based currency systems in the nations of the east,and the unbroken custom of its peoples to hold their wealth in preciousmetals, make it only logical to suppose that part of this process of adaptingold to new will be applied to the monetary metals. While much has beenmade of late about the drive to a global, one world political and economicsystem, it appears more likely that nation states will continue to be thedominant arrangement, albeit aligned in various blocs and trade unions.Likewise, a variety of currency schemes will most probably arise, withdiffering emphasis on the use and value of the metals. As the world

formalizes into two major power blocs, where writ of the banking interestsremains most entrenched, return to metallic-based systems is unlikely. Inthe western bloc, the current build up of surveillance, tax legislation andcurrency controls in the west indicates a widening grab for private assets onthe part of the state and its corporate handlers.

In sum, by no means everywhere on earth will provide the individualholding a store of gold and silver with protection from the rapacious stateor its criminal auxiliaries. Unfortunately for metal holder of the western

world, the trend to increasing use of electronic currenciesand the

willingness of their countries leaders to given up national sovereignty infavor of agreements ofsecret and dubiousnature bodes ill for theirchances of holding a winning hand in the coming paradigm change.

Getting an idea of just how this new system can and will be put togetherrequires more than simply reading second hand reportage in the westernmedia. What is left of the craft of journalism there is reduced by and largeto guest pieces in print media or on blogs by travelers whose short stays in

Asia allow them but a glimpse of the unfolding future. Far too many ofthose who go to China and the East in order to report on businessremaintotally blind to the key ways in which that activity is integrated differentlyinto the other aspects of society in the East making their reports deeplyflawed for the purpose of anticipating future developments. This,combined with the studied distaste that westerners have developed forlearning about the wider world creates a vacuum of understanding aboutthat increasinglywealthier world building outside of their ken! Onlyobservations gained via first hand personal experience of the Asian

continuum through the benefit of a time of residency there can avoidthe inherent flaws of a narrative which reduces the other to the narrowparameters of ones own world view!

As I mentioned in a previous segment of this series, there is no morecontrarian class of asset allocation - if you live in the western world - thangold or silver. If one somehow managed to double the number of peoplethere who owned those metals there... you would still be talking aboutmuch less than 5% of the population. Contrast that with the situation in

pretty much any Asian country - where the tradition of holding those themremains unbroken over time. In the one where I live, the connection togold runs through every strata of society all but the very poorest find the

wherewithal to buy gold bracelets for weddings, or the 22 karat 170 g coinsfor savings. Many bouts of currency depreciation and inflation have giventhem a keen understanding of its economic role!

Visiting the Far East provides many glimpses into how old and newcontinously intermingle in a vigorous dynamic ofprogression towards the past.One of the highlights of my visit to China was staying in a newly openedhotel in the southwest, wherein the inner courtyards of which were

fashioned in a clearly authentic manner with materials of stone and timberthat reflected a master craftsmanship not usually associated - in the west

with modern China. Close by, an entire complex of Buddhist temple siteswas being built, again in an astonishing authentic fashion and attention todetails. Clearly a complex intended for domestic, middle class tourism, theentire area bespoke an appreciation for the past which all too often in the

western world is turned into chintzy Disney experiences.

After taking stock of the Vietnamese, still rebuilding after their crushingwar with the West, but enterprising and full of hustle, I had moved on toChina without any set expectation of what I would find. Although I hadntthe time for a journey to far Sinkiang, hotbed of Uyghur Muslimseparatism, I wanted to see how the Muslim minorities in China werefaring, as well as visit Yunnan, site of the short-lived PAGE gold exchangeinitiative, and terminus of some of the oldest of the long caravan routes of

the stories Silk Road. Drifting westwards by train past provincialcountryside full of farmers driving their two-wheeled tractor workhorses toand from their small holdings, surprisingly common swathes of naturalforest land, and towns bursting at the edges with new development, myarrival in the clean, wide open and modernized spaces of its cities showedme a dynamic society forging new connections to its past while buildingbridges to the future.

Even in what are referred to as China's third tier cities, the strong sense

of wealth and social cohesion on display in the public spaces had given mean awareness of how quickly this mission was evolving. A vibrant mixtureof oldsters and youngster hung out in those spaces, expressing their simplepleasure of being together with kites, sword dances, tai chai and the like

Visiting a formerly Japanese owned facility in Yunnan, built usingprinciples borrowed originally from Chinas own aesthetic tradition, I couldsee how much the Eastern cultures have intermixed, to their mutualadvantage. These principles, which the Japanese employed to such great

effect in becoming one of the worlds top economies, are being returnedhome with the added interest of modern engineering skills applied! Whilein the past, those two eastern civilizations interacted primarilythrough culture transfers such as Sino-Indian Buddhism in the directionof Japan, now the transfer of Japans technological know how is givingChina a major boost in its quest to return to the top tier of internationalinfluence.

Contemplating the harmonious blending of old and new, so often ondisplay in todays China, it was easy for me to see the natural fit betweenthe two Asian cultures, and how in the future each will aid the other, if theychoose to coexist rather than create frictions between themselves. Thoughit is the wests policy to keep relations between the two top Asianeconomies tense, its only a matter of time till the Japanese realize that theirfuture lies with Asia and the commercial alliances being built there.

It's the thought of that huge arc of peaceful coexistence and economic

cooperation in an Asia possessed of so much of the worlds oil and mineralwealth that drives the Washington and its satrapies to stir up so muchtrouble and division within and amongst the Asian nations. But China isfighting back against the deliberate encouragement of separatist tendenciesamongst its Uyghur Muslim minority in Sinkiang, by helping it's Huiminority Ningxia Muslims to connect commercially with the Muslim states.

In the spirit of which, the China-Arab Economic Forum in Yingchuan ,had representation from more than 70 countries, In addition to many

signed trade contracts, there was also discussion of the potential to movethe Asian economic zone into a metals-backed currency regime.. Statesmenand businessmen from the Arab and Sino sectors were able to mingle withthe freedom to take a longer term perspective on this kind of development-which goes hand in hand with China's increasing role as an alternate

security guardian for oil-rich Muslim states and its efforts to open newtrade and supply lines through Islamic south and central Asian states.

While speculative talk of BRICS banks and trading blocs abounds on the

internet, its conferences such as this where plans of coming currency regimechangeare being discussed at the practical level. No matter how much awedge Washington tries to put between the Russians, Chinese, and theIslamic states, there is too much dynamic momentum now to hold backthis metallic-based trading and security bloc for much longer. Even clientstates of the west such as Qatar are beginning to hedge their bets, and sendout feelers in new directions eastwards. The new Silk Road abuilding willhave branches to the Persian Gulf and the Baltic Sea, and surely a Med portor two! It will run by means of high speed rail lines, instead of via cameland horseback, but involve the descendants of the same parties who co-operated in creating the original landline of commerce east to west.

A pragmatic approach seems to give the Chinese a decided advantage inthese international forums. As much as the contrast between an uber-religious Muslim world and the agnostic and phlegmatic Chinese couldseem to make for stony ground between them, the Chinese have longsmoothed the way to mutual understanding via diplomacy, and taking

stakes in middle eastern commercial projects. Soaking in a thermal poolbeneath a forest of pines in Chinas Yunnan province, I later reflected onthe findings of my own small China Mission of some two centuries afterMacartney's. Here, in Asia, I had no doubt, lay the future for any young

westerner with marketable skills or an entrepreneurial bent even thoughbut anotherforeign devil myself, I had felt welcomed and well assisted in mytravels through the far East.

One of the greatest contrasts between east and west provided by those

travels came with walking into a Chinese bank, where my gaze wasimmediately transfixed a glass cases full of gold coin and barswhat I hadfirst assumed to be some kind of display of an antiquarian nature turned tobe a public display of both antique moneys and newly minted items whichthe bank offered its customers for sale a remarkable contradistinction tothe function of western banking!

I saw evidence of large scale investment in infrastructure was everywhere,while vehicles were uniformly new, quiet, and environmentally friendly. Asense of social cohesion and vibrant enterprise exuded from the people, instark contrast to the news that pours out of the western media everyday

about Chinas huge problems. Problems, of course there are but seeingthem as challenges to be met or signs of crisis is all in the eye of thebeholder. What Ihad beheld there convinced me of where the East wasgoing and that the direction was diametrically opposite to that pursuedby the West!

Impressed by all these signs pointing towards the kind of post-westernworld I had imagined must be on the build somewhere east of my ownAsian home, I was keen to continue on further in my far-Eastern journey.Necessary to round out any such trip is a stay in Malaysi a whereremonetization of gold dinar and silver dirham is a hot topic.After a stay inChinas semi-tropical southwest, where another sizeable Muslim minority isstrongly represented, I boarded a freight barge carrying oranges to Thailandfor a trip down the fast waters of the Mekong from China's only freshwaterinternational port. Passing through the heart of the famous "Golden

Triangle" where so much of the traffic in vice which props up the westerneconomies has been domiciled since the Vietnam war, I acquainted myself

with the many Golden Buddhas of Thailand, then moved on toMalayasia, where two states have experimented with minting gold Dinarsrecently... with varied, but very interesting results! All the technical detailsneeding to be worked out in instituting workable metallic currency systemsare being run through by able adjudicators such as Ahamed Kameel inMalaysia, and Hugo Price Salinas in Mexico, both countries with richtraditions in metallic currencies. Now with the opening of the SGE as a fullplatform for gold trading, and the shift eastwards this will bring to marketprice setting, there is much brewing both above and below the surface inthe East of great import to the western precious metals investor!

Part of my aim in creating this series has been to counteract the appallinglack of informed analysis in the precious metals sector where simplecheerleading and insular American chart pornucopia substitute forreasoned interpretation of these much more significant outside events that

Prior to my own escape from the Americas, the most vexing hindrance tomaking up my mind to go was the almost total absence of objective, firsthand information available from those who had already transplantedthemselves to distant shores. Remembering this lack, and having learnedjust how different things look from outside the bubble world of the

western perspective gives me cause enough to persist in offering those witha hunger for new information those small morsels I can provide.

Those in the west who believe that the currentsurge in buying on the part of the Asian nations is a phenomena that canonly result in an increase to the value of their metals portfolio have createda picture more akin to the reflections in a funhouse mirror than an accurate

assessment of where things will lead! I call this charming fiction theCHINA MEME.

When I read some of the first responses to part two of this series, I wasn't

sure whether they reflected a simple failure to read and comprehend whathad been written, or an effort to deliberately deflect the message of myargument in order to limited the damage being done to consensusgold/silverbug opinion. One thing was clear, for sure though. In a sea ofbad news and depressed prices, those seeking to clutch at straws in hopesof staying afloat have pinned those hopes to the current strength of Asiangold buying in preference to the strong rope thrown them by way ifobjective, first hand analysis.

I gradually realized that those who sought to use a strawman argumentagainst the precis of this series had pinned their hopes entirely upon thisCHINA MEME!. While some seem to regard me as a species of wolfintent upon blowing down their houses ...I maintain that my work here

merely encourages recognition of the need for a home constructed of

more lasting material!. Feedback from those first segments caused me torealize that no transplantation of fresh ideas will take hold without clearingaway the distortion created via thsee strawman arugments used by those

seeking to dispel the impact of the post-western perspective. With thisfurther pass of the brush hog, it is to be hoped that we will have clearedthe way forward!

The single most important fact about what Asian gold buying means to thewestern investor is that the world is about to become divided into two verydifferent halves - only one of which will be a safe refuge for the metalholder The other, ruled over by the BIS and other instruments of thefinancial interests who control virtually ALL media outlets in their half of

the world MSM or otherwise, will continue the sequence of measures bywhich wealth will be stripped from the populace. By fraud - in the form ofMFG style judicially-sanctioned operations or by stealth - in the way oflaws that target the metals with hoarding and/or windfall profit taxes... orthrough outright theft, as in a confiscation/nationalisation scenario thecorporo-fascistic governments of the west can be counted upon to aim for

Where a tiny minority of the populace has tangible wealth in the form of

gold\silver, it is credulous in the extreme to believe that a) a hard moneybased system is likely to be a part of their nations future b)that statemandated confiscation of that wealth will not be employed with theapproval of that 98% who have no stake in the metals.

In this formerly freepart of the world, which now can only ironicallybereferred to as the 'first' one, precious metals are a distinctly out offavor/out of fashion asset, given short shrift by state, corporate and mediatalking heads, while the signs of economic disintegration, infrastructural

decay and increasing dependence on state handouts are everywhere. Inthese mixed, non-heterogeneous social settings, tensions seem to be risingbetween both state and its citizens, and the various ethnicities which makeup the social fabric. A complacent, inwards looking population cut offfrom the doings of the wider world is disincentivized from either wakingup to the perils of their position in this decaying picture, or taking note ofthe strongly contrasting trends in other parts of the world. The "devolution"is not being televised!

Starved for real reportage, the precious metals investor of the west is easyprey for the incessantly repeated narrative of the central banks and theFED/ECB/BOE are behind thegold/silver suppression kindwhich, like all dissimulative disinfo ops mustcontain a grain of truth to beeffective. The entire western world is now effectively one massive TERROR state...one OBAMANATION (under DOG -where every sane human value is invertedto it's opposite) ... the 'citizens' of which have nothing to look forward toother than the EXTRAORDINARY RENDITION of their person& property into the hands of a clique of Khmer Rouge-like communo-fascists operating at the behest of the usual shadowy interests. In the deadlygame of 'gift-exchange' that takes place between the western NATO-NAZIS and their puppet "ISLAMIC TERRORIST"proxies, the flow ofstock is the the blood of innocents. Can anyone be so foolish as to thinkthis circulatory system will go in only one direction? NineOneOne wasprelude to the arrival of sacrificial offerings ever closer to home,as thenew 'energy source' of the western satanist ruling class. Those who failed to peek out from behind the curtains, in other words, atthe world outside their particular part of the ponzi principalities, shouldnot be expecting a warm welcome from the wider world when it's time totruly bail. As the energy of invention and individualism shifts back to the

east, the story of Macartneys mission reminds us it will not be the firsttime that the west has been subject to a Dark Ages era of barbaric cultureand destructively aggressive peoples, to be shunned and avoided!

Surprised by the intensity of some of the hostile responses westerners haveshown to my efforts to bring them unfiltered news from the outside world,I wondered at first about why such effort to deflect what can only be ofservice is mobilized by this message. On reflection I realized that they havebecome used to all communication being a facet of their consumeridentity.... which their 'socialization' - via"social media"- encourages them tobelieve can and needs befiltered so as to ensure all contact with the

world is of a reassuring, shopper friendlynature. Contact with challengingideas is not desirable or permissible in this scheme of things! The friendly,focused filtering which the media provides at no costworks to put themin contact with only those messages... and messengers... which re-inforcetheir existing beliefs.

. Since one can choose to simply blot out any information or any personthat might intrude upon the security of the tranquility tankin which theynestle...access to the outside world for the westerner is less and lessavailable. Rather than become 'informed'... many in the west havetherefore chosen to become simplyconsumers of 'information'... littlerealizing that all(or almost all) of it is tailored to increase their utility to the'god of market forces' - cultivating their own preconceptions, at theexpense of their own interests! Rather than 'stay tuned' to the real, the

western mind is induced to constantly 'change the channel' in search of a

more pleasant shopping experience! As a very bright observer of thisphenomena once observed...

Information devours its own content. It devours communication and the social.Rather than creating communication, it exhausts itself in the act of staging

Now there is a take on things with an astonishing application to the EROI

thesis! How much energy is lost every day to the 'staging' of meaning -which can only happen via the theft of real meaning? Reality is a potent energysource we can power our lives with... but it dries up when we try to force it to bend to ourrules. Adaptation to the dictates of reality is what keeps a person mobile,renewable,andcontinually creative The further we travel away from that source, the moreour lives become encumbered by useless, even destructive diversions which

waste ourenergies and sap the strength of societies. What is the EROI on theporn viewing which according to statistics, occupies a large chunk of the westerners' onlinetime? What is the cost, in energetic terms, of substituting a system ofmental masturbation for the now antiquated option of love; the experienceof which can only be gained via the tactile investment of ones time andenergy in communicating with a real person? I once took the trouble to putdown myimpression about this serial dismemberment of the body politic,and the westerners quality of life ... from which I quote:

This is the ultimate poverty of wealth, privilege, and the indulged capacitytobecome so jaded to life as to lose total contact with the real, in favor of thevirtual.As America and its satrapies enter their fatal apotheosis, the loss of this

contact with reality will mean nothing less than the loss of the collective will to survive asan integral people and society.

So what if this is all mere fearmongering, and somehow, someway, therewill be a rejuvenation spring forth from within the western world thatdrives all these dark clouds away? To the best of my understanding, even

armaments and draconian laws against their own people in expectation of afinal showdown... followed by a halycon era of honest money, honestpoliticians, and pretty much every other good and wonderful thing!

For those who believe in scenarios like... Ron Paul becoming President ofthe USA... the power of the military-financial-pharmaceutical-agribusinesscomplex being abrogated... budgets being balanced... and a return to goldand silver coinage in the countries of the west... I have no counterargument to offer you, as I am writing for an entirely different audience,that harbors a certain feeling that the rot has set in too deep in the ship ofstate to be repaired.... but isn't sure whether to act on that gut feeling ornot. The Euroasian Economic Forumappears to be signaling the forthcoming of a standardized gold currency

which will have writ across the major portion of the globe, like a new formof Byzantium Bezant, which for centuries was accepted from far East tofarthest West! Only the (greatly reduced) zone until direct control of the

western banking elite will Muchnot be switching over to this probabledollar replacement currency. It remains to be seen how the Euro will fareunder the new system and how much of Europe remains under thecontrol of the Atlanticists! In addition to a living cultural tradition, many Asian countries still have theadvantage of a religious heritage which mandates the use of preciousmetals, and prohibits the use of debt and usury instruments. Though

western-backed reformers instituted a modernization of Islam, as withChristianity, by which these strictures have been diluted to almost nothing,there still exist on the books of Islamic jurisprudence and in their holiestscriptures the outlines of a metallic money system just waiting to bereactivated when the petrodollar falls.

values intrinsic to Asian traditions get shut out or high jacked by suchabnormal wealth concentrations, owners of which serve as a global class ofrentiers extracting their pound of flesh from every segment of enterprise.Nation states seeking relief from this ultimately neo-colonial model will usemonetary metals as a base with which to scale an alternative internationaleconomic order as appealing to the Islamic traditionalist as to the

These moves towards reintroducing metallic systems should not bemisunderstood however as a showdown between forces of light and dark,as the more over the top western gold/silver bugs like to portray it.Ironically, in their religious fervor towards the metals, they align themselvesmore closely with the moneychangers, as worshippers of the golden calf,than to their supposed allies of the moment in the East where there isrecognition that the monetary metals are simply a tool to be employed inunwinding several centuries of western hegemony. Exclusively in the short term, can we say with assurancethat gold and probably silver too, will benefit highly from this global re-alignment and paradigm shift and some, though not all, of their holderstoo! certainly a part of the tradition of metal-based systems of trade its notthe morality of the Bible thumpers or other religious zealots that will powerthe counter-movement of the Asian powers away from westernsystemsbut rather, the morality of the ancient sages retooled for themodern age!

But this will be a long transition, during which the solidifying relationships

between China, Russia, and the Islamic world will be key in achievingenergy equilibrium. Clean gas flowing through soon to be built pipelinesacross the continent, and south to Indian Ocean ports will be obtained bymeans of gold-back settlement system which will give overwhelming costadvantage to the eastern trading bloc(soon to include former USA ally

In creating this series Barbarous Reliquary, it was my aim to counteract anappalling lack of informed analysis the result of which is that the westerninvestor is held hostage to facile and misleading second hand storiespeddled by persons with little direct knowledge of topics of key importance

When the debt-based ponzi scheme collapses finally those holdingprecious metals anywhere in the world - will indeed be holding a store of

wealth a sort of compact container of ENERGYas caloric contentheld in frozen form for use whenever and wherever applicable. And that isjust the catch which I have been underlining here: where systems treatenergy as commodities to be monopolized, manipulated, and madescarce the deck is stacked against individuals who wish to employ their

wealth as they freely choose. What this pending two-fold world orderboils down to is that in the western sector of it, the continued controlof wealth\energy\enterprise by special interests will disallow one theuse of their own wealth in its most efficient fashion because thatsystem runs on the elites ability to take a piece of everyones pie!

I am truly not here to rain on anyone's parade. If you think that you willbe profited by holding precious metals while holding onto your place in the

The first two parts of this series were spent in search of the key whichcould unlock for readers the door that separates them from the goings onof the wider world outside of their comforting but asphyxiating media-made tranquility tank so as to best help those in pursuit of knowledgeof how the best adapt themselves to these changing realities.

The simple facticityof the surge in Asian precious metal buying used asa supposed counterweightto the message delivered here - of a forthcomingseminal divide between the two halves of the world - is just another

ruse/strawmanargument. Employed as preemptive strike by those who preyupon the blind spots of the western metal holder, it serves to confuse anddistract rather than enlighten.

As balance of power shifts steadily eastwards, the mechanisms of trueprice discovery that develop there will not be applied equally in the west.Either a continuation of the corrupted financial system or a breakdowninto chaos will prevail there either way, the orderly evolution of ametallic based system is not likely to be in the cards! Having no gold left

with which to negotiate entry into the new international trading systemnow being built, the formerly first world will be reduced to poor cousinslooking in from without. Of course its to be hoped that one day not toofar into the distant future, the western world will have sorted through itstroubles, and be able to rejoin the rest of humankind in the refashionedmode of civilization that I have attempted to describe above. But throwingoff the shackles of those who have destroyed it will be no easy, nor brieftask. In the cycles of time, two or three generations is no long period. The

west has risen from the ashes of its greed and stupidity before perhapsone day after not too long an interval, it will do so again!
