This appears to be Wm Hanson, son of Elijah and Nancy Caroline Cox. Mt Andrew, in Barbour Co, appears to be abt 25-30 miles from Union Springs, in Bullock Co, where the Copes and some of the other Powells and Owenses lived, and maybe 20 miles from Perote. It is only a few miles south of the Bullock line, between Clayton and Three Notch. William and several of his 1860 neighbors at PO Mt Andrew (Bryan, Rumpf, Stewart, Nobles and Warren) were enumerated in 1870 in T11 R25, PO Eufaula, within a few entries of William’s brothers John and James E.
