* The appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without super-vision. Young children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.

* The air sucked can’t be conveyed through or into a duct used to let out fumes fromappliances fed by energy other than electric power (eg. centralized heating, radiators,water-heaters, etc.).

* To evacuate the air outlet, please comply with the pertaining rules given by competentauthorities.

The cooker hood, when evacuating the sucked air, could generate a negative pressure in the room- which can’t exceed the limit of 0.04 mbar, in order to avoid the suck of exhausts deriving from the heat-source.Therefore the room should be provided with air-intakes to allow a constant flow of fresh air.

* When performing the electrical connections on the appliance, please make sure that themcurrent-tap is provided with earth connection and that voltage values correspond to thoseindicated on the label placed inside the appliance itself.

* Please disconnect the appliance from power mains, before carrying out any cleaning ormaintenance operation.

If the appliance is not equipped with a nonseparable flexible cable and plug, or with ano-ther device ensuring omnipolar disconnection from the mains, with an opening distance between the contacts of at least 3 mm, then such disconnecting devices must be provided in the fixed installation.

Theapplianceisalreadyarrangedbothforfilteringandforsuctionperformances.

Initsfilteringversion(Fig.1),theairandfumesconveyedbytheappliancearecleanedbothby a grease filter and by an active coal filter, and put again into circulation through the side-grids of the chimney.Initssuckingversion(Fig.2),fumesaredirectlyconveyedoutside,throughanevacuationductconnected with the superior part of the wall or the ceiling. Both coal filter and air deflector arenot necessary in this case.

The manufacturer will not accept any liability for damages occurred during the appliance handling/transport and in-stallation operations.

Carefully read the following installation instructions ,beforeinstalling the appliance.

Check that all the components are not damaged. In case ofdamages, please contact your retailer and do not carry outinstallation.

Alloftheproductshavebeendesignedwiththepossibilitytodirect the air out-let towards the appliance rear side; in caseyou choose this option , you will need to remove the no. 10screws found in the suctioning unit support (fig. 3 ), pull thesuctioning unit out and rotate it in such a way as to direct theair out-let nozzle towards the appliance rear side (fig. 4); thenrefit the suctioning unit into place and tighten the screws pre-viously removed.

Withthehelpofthespecialdrillingtemplate(fig.5A),pleasedrill the holes for the wall brackets.The rear, lowest part of the applianceshallbeplacedat thefollowing minimum distance from the cook top:

Securethewallbracketstothewall,byusingtheanchorsandscrews supplied with the appliance (FIG.6 A).Hook the hood to the wall brackets previouslyfixed(FIG.6).

SLTC93 MATERA - SLTC94 BARI - SLTC97 BERGAMO - SLTC103 VICENZATightenthetwoscrewsintothewallbracket(fig.7A),whichare necessary to make the appliance adhere to the wall; thencheck that the hood is perfectly flush with wall, otherwise acton the screws shown in fig. 7 B, as follows tighten the screw ifyou need to lift the corresponding side, or unscrew it in caseyou need to reduce the height.Carry out the electrical connection,byusingtheappropriatepower cord.Only for SLTC93MATERAandSLTC94BARImodels: openthefront panel by rotating the lower part upwards , as shown in (fig.8 and fig. 9).

Removethegreasefilterinordertoreachtheapplianceinnerside. The grease filter is removed by following the instructionsgiven in the maintenance section.Definitively secure the product tothewallbyusingthescrewsprovided, as shown in fig. 10.

Suctioning mode (top air out-let).Securethepipesupportbracket(fig.12)tothewalland/ortheceiling , by using the anchors and screws provided, in a posi-tion corresponding to the centre of the hood.Connect the motor air out-let flange to the exhausthole,byusing a suitable pipe.Place the two decorativepipesonthehoodexhaustbody;liftthe inner pipe as long as it reaches the bracket; then secure itby using the no. 2 self-threaded screws provided.

Suctioning mode (rear air out-let).Youwill need to rotate the suctionmotor, as shown in theinstallation section and in fig. 3 and 4, in order to direct themotor air out-let towards the appliance rear side .Fit the air out-let grid into place on top of the hood(fig.13).The use of steel decorative pipes is not necessary .In SLTC97 BERGAMO model, it is always necessary to use the steel decorative pipes, even if the rear air out-let is used.

Filtering mode.Fittheairout-letgridintoplaceontopofthehood(fig.13).The use of steel decorative pipes is not necessary.In the filtering version, a charcoal filter shall also beused,asshown in the maintenance section, according to the model.In SLTC97 BERGAMO model, it is always necessary to use the steel decorative pipes, even in the filtering version.

Anairdeflectorisavailableasanaccessory,inordertodirectthe air coming out of the motor towards the grids of the steeldecorative pipes (fig. 14); the air deflector shall be connectedto the motor air out-let with a suitable pipe, which is not sup-pliedwiththeproduct.

AsaresultofthenewEU65“Energy label”andEU66“ Ecodesign”regulationsissuedbytheEuropeanCommission,whichcameintoforceasfromJanuary1st,2015,ourproductshavebeenadaptedtocomplywiththesenewrequirements.

All of the models complying with the energy label requirements, are equipped with new electro-nics including a timer device for suction speeds control,whentheaircapacityexceeds650m³/h.

Internalmotormodels,withmaximumaircapacityhigherthan650m³/h,areequippedwithatimerdevicethatautomaticallyswitchesthesuctionspeedfrom4thto3rdspeed,after6minutesoperation.

HOW TO REMOVE THE GREASE FILTER AND THE CHARCOAL FILTER

SLTC93 MATERA - SLTC94 BARI Afteropeningthefrontpanel,asshownintheinstallationsection,removethegreasefilterbyactingonitshandle.The charcoal filter is installed as shown in fig. 17, by fittingitintoitsseatwhichisfoundjustbehind the metal grease filter.

SLTC97 BERGAMO Removethegreasefilterbyactingonitshandle.Thecharcoalfilterisinstalleddirectlyonthegreasefilterrearside,byhookingthecharcoalfilterdirectly on the grease filter frame by using its specific handle.

Thegreasefilterneedscleaningbyregularhand-washingorindishwasherseverytwomonthsatleastordependingonitsuse.Incasetheapplianceisusedinitsfilteringversion,theactivecoal filter needs to be periodically replaced.The charcoal filter is removed by removing thegreasefilterfirst,followingtheinstructionsabo-ve, then by pulling its special plastic tongue until it is released from its seat.The charcoal filter is inserted by following the reverse procedure.Tocleantheapplianceitselftepidwaterandneutraldetergentarerecommended,whileabrasiveproducts should be avoided.

The power cord shall be replaced by authorized personnel only.

Substitution of the LED bar:Usinganappropriate tool, remove theLEDbar from itsseat (refer toFig.19),disconnect itelectronically using the appropriate connector then substitute it with a LED bar with same cha-racteristics.

* L’air aspiré ne doit pas être évacué dans un conduit qui est utilisé pour évacuer les fu-mées produites par des appareils alimentés par des sources d’énergie autres que l’énergieélectrique (installations de chauffage central, radiateurs, chauffe-eau, etc.).

* Pour évacuer l’air qui doit être traité respectez les prescriptions des autorités compéten-tes.

* Prévoyez une aération de la pièce adéquate quand une hotte et des appareils alimentéspar une énergie autre que l’énergie électrique (poêle à gaz, à charbon, etc.) sont utilisésen même temps. En effet, en évacuant l’air, la hotte pourrait créer une dépression dans lapièce. La pression négative de la pièce ne doit pas dépasser 0,04 mbar, évitant ainsi que lasource de chaleurs provoque un appel des gaz qui doivent être évacués. Il est donc néces-saire d’équiper la pièce de prises d’air alimentant un flux d’air frais constant.

* Lors du raccordement électrique assurez-vous que la prise de courant soit munie demise à la terre; vérifiez aussi que les valeurs de tension correspondent à celles qui sontindiquées sur la plaque des caractéristiques de l’appareil, qui se trouve à l’intérieur decelui-ci.

* Avant de procéder à une opération d’entretien ou de nettoyage quelconque, il faut dé-brancher l’appareil.Si votre appareil n’a pas de câble flexible qui ne peut pas être séparé, ni de prise ou biend’autre dispositif qui garantisse le débranchement de tous les pôles du réseau,avec unedistance d’ouverture entre les contacts d’au moins 3 mm., ces dispositif de séparation duréseau doivent alors être prévus dans l’installation fixe.

Si l’appareil fixé est pourvu du câble de l’alimentation avec une fiche, l’appareil doit être placé de manière que la fiche soit facilement accessible.

* Évitez d’utiliser des matériaux qui causent des flambées à proximité de l’appareil.Dans le cas de fritures, faites tout particulièrement attention au danger d’incendie quereprésentent les huiles et les corps gras. A cause de son inflammabilité l’huile usagéeest particulièrement dangereuse. N’utilisez pas de grilles électriques découvertes. Pouréviter des risques d’incendie possibles suivez les instructions données concernant lenettoyage des filtres anti-graisses et sur la façon d’enlever des dépôts éventuels degraisse sur l’appareil.

L’appareilpeutêtreutiliséenversionrecyclageouaspirante(évacuationextérieure).Danslaversionrecyclage(Fig.1)l’airetlesvapeursaspirésparl’appareilsontépurésparunegrille anti-graisse et par un panneau en fibre de charbon actif, puis sont remis en circulationdans la pièce.Dans la versionaspirante(Fig.2)lesvapeurssontaspiréesdirectementàl’extérieurparuntuyau d’évacuation. Il n’est donc pas nécessaire d’utiliser le filtre à charbon actif.

Le fabricantne répondpasdesdysfonctionnementsconcer-nant la prestation et la pollution sonore de l’appareil au clientet aucune garantie sera prêtée si les instructions suivantes neseront suivies attentivement.

Avantdeprocéderà l’installation, veuillez lireattentivementtoutes les instructions reportées ci-dessous.

Vérifierquetouslescomposantssontenbonétat;danslecascontraire, contacter le revendeur et interrompre l’installation.

- Utiliser un tuyau d’évacuation ayant une longueur la pluscourte possible, limiter le nombre des coudes de la canali-sation et utiliser un matériel approuvé par la réglementation.- Éviter tout changement drastique de direction (diamètreconstant conseillé Ø 150mm ou surface équivalente). - Le fa-bricant décline toute responsabilité en cas de problèmes debruit et de portée si les indications indiquées ci-haut ne sontpas respectées.

Touslesproduitsontétésétudiéspourorienterlasortied’airpar le côté postérieur du produit ; dans le cas où on souhaite-rait utiliser cette fonction, il faut enlever les n. 10 vis du sup-port du groupe d’aspiration (dess. 3), ensuite retirer le grouped’aspiration en le tournant de façon d’orienter l’embout de lasortie d’air vers le côté postérieur du produit (dess. 4). Par lasuite, remonter le groupe d’aspiration à sa place et visser denouveau les vis précédemment enlevées.

Enutilisantlemasqueprotecteur(dess.5A),effectuerlestrouspour la mise en place des étriers muraux. Respecter les distan-ces suivantes entre la base inférieure de la hotte et la surfacede la table de cuisson.

Version aspirante (sortie supérieure).Fixerl’étrierdesupporttuyau(dess.15)surlaparoiet/ouleplafond par les tasseaux et les vis en dotation (dess. 12), enposition centrale par rapport à la hotte. Raccorder le collet dutuyau sortie d’air du moteur avec le trou d’évacuation par untuyau approprié. Placer les tubes décoratifs sur le corps aspi-rant ; soulever le tuyau intérieur jusqu’à l’étrier et le fixer parles 2 vis autoperceuses fournies.

Version aspirante (sortie postérieure).Ilestnécessairedetournerlemoteurd’aspiration,commein-diqué dans la section « Installation » et les dess. 3 et 4, afind’orienter la sortie d’air du moteur vers le côté postérieur duproduit. Installer la grille de la sortie d’air dans son logementsur la hotte (dess. 13). Les fûts décoratifs en acier ne sont pasnécessaires.Pour le produit SLTC97 BERGAMO il faut toujours installer les fûts décoratifs en acier, même en cas de sortie d’air postérieure.

Version filtrante. Installer lagrillede la sortied’airdans son logement sur lahotte (dess. 13). Les fûts décoratifs en acier ne sont pas né-cessaires. Pour la version filtrante, il faut installer égalementle filtre à charbon, comme indiqué dans la section « Entretien», selon le modèle. Pour le produit SLTC97 BERGAMO il faut toujours installer les fûts décoratifs en acier, même en cas de version filtrante.

Commeaccessoire, il estdisponibleundéflecteurd’airper-mettant de dévier l’air en sortie du moteur directement versles grilles des tubes décoratifs en acier (dess 14) ; le déflecteurd’air doit être lié à la sortie d’air du moteur d’aspiration par untuyau approprié qui n’est pas fourni avec la hotte.

TEMPORISATEUR FR

Nosproduitsontétéadaptéspourseconformerauxnouvellesnormesdel’UnionEuropéenneenmatièredel’EU65« Étiquette-Énergie »etl’EU66« Écoconception »(àpartirdu1erjanvier2015).

La nouvelle électronique des produits ayant l’ « Étiquette-Énergie » sont pourvus d’un dispositif de temporisation pour le contrôle de la vitesse d’aspiration si le débit d’air en évacuationdépasseles650m³/h.

En effet, lesmodèles avecmoteur intégré ayant un débit d’air en évacuation supérieur à650m³/hsontpourvusd’undispositifquiréduitautomatiquementlavitesseIVàlavitesseIIIaprès6minutesdefonctionnement.

SLTC97 BERGAMORetirerlefiltreàgraisseparsapoignée.Installerlefiltreàcharbondirecte-mentsurlefiltreàgraisse,danslapartiepostérieure,enaccrochantlefiltreàcharbondirecte-ment dans le logement du filtre à graisse par sa poignée.

”Onpeutmonterlesfiltresanti-graisseensuivantlemêmeprocèsàl’invers.Le nettoyage du filtre anti graisse peut s’effectuer à main ou dans le lave - vaisselle,unefoistouslesdeuxmoisauminimumouselonl’usage.Si l’appareil est utilisé en version recyclage, un filtreencharbonactifdoitêtreinstalléetchangépériodiquement. Pour déplacer le filtre charbon il faut d’avance déplacer le filtre anti - graisse.Pour nettoyer l’appareil on conseille d’utiliser des détergent neutres. Il faut éviter d’utiliser desproduits abrasifs.”

La substitution du câble d’alimentation doit être effectuée seulement par un personnel autorisé.

Substitution de la barre à LED:Al’aided’unoutilapproprié,extrairelabarreàLEDdesonemplacement(voirfigure19),ladé-brancher électroniquement à l’aide du connecteur puis la remplacer avec une autre barre ayantles mêmes caractéristiques.
