"We plan on continuing with the plans we set up for last year. We will work as a group to create the summer reading list. We will post the list and give out paper copies of the list. We will share the list with the local library and bookstore. We will have the public librarian visit to share their Summer Reading program. We will provide suggestions for summer reading both in print and online. We will encourage students to read at least 6 books and to participate in the public library program. Students who log at least 6 books and share that information with us on our log or one provided through another summer reading initiative will receive a certificate of achievement in September." – Jamie Greene, Cherylann Bertoncini, Katie O’Kane & Melanie Roy
