Quite an about face for the best demo cracy money can buy, in view of the Bush presidential

se-lection.

But of course, corruption, collusion and nepotism is the sole monopo ly of the Third World -

or so the deluded denizens of the West repeat to themselves as they hug their knees,

rocking back and forth - reminding themselves of how they uphold human rights equally

across the board, entirely devoid of double-standards and totally oblivious to race, creed or

religion.

Barrak Hussein Obama II was born to a white American Ann Dunham and Kenyan Barrak

Hussein O bama Snr, in Nyang'oma Kogelo now in Kenya.

From age 6 to 10, Obama lived in J akarta. Age six, Obam a attended the Catholic Primary St

Francis di Assisi. Much was made of the lie he was educated in a Madrassa - or more

His mother often went to the church, but Barry was Muslim. He went to the mosque, Adi

said. I remember him wearing a saro ng.

Obama spent most his spare time hanging out with Adi and other friends at the home of

Yunaldi Askiar, a classmate. They used to play a kind of fencing game using sticks, kick a

ball up and down the narrow dirt lanes or go swimming in the river behind the school, said

Askiar, 42, a car mechanic.

Obama was taller and better dressed than most kids in classes where shoes and socks

were still luxuries, so he stood out from the start. As an African American, and the only

foreigner, he s uffered racial taunts and teasing but never turned to viol ence.

"At first, everybody felt it was weird to have him here," Israella Dharmawan, his

first grade teacher said. "But also they were curious about him, so wherever he

went, the kids were follo wing him."

Ann Soetoro moved to Yogyakarta, while Obama Jnr studied in Jakarta. She was inspired

by Jogja village industries, which became the basis o f her 1992 do ctoral dissertation.

She loved living in Java, said Dr. Dewey, who recalled accompanying Ms.

Soetoro to a metalworking village. People said: Hi! How are you? She said:

Hows your wife? Did your daughter have the baby? They were friends. Then

shed whip out her notebook and shed say: How many of you have electricity?

Are you having trouble getting iron?

Dunham-Soetoro became a consultant for the United States Agency for International

Development o n setting up a village credit program, then a Ford Foundation program officer

in Jakarta specializing in wo mens work. Later, she was a co nsultant in Pakistan, then joined

Indonesias oldest bank to work on what is described as the worlds largest sustainable

microfinance program, creating services like credit and savings for the poo r.

In his tellingly-titled Memoir, Dreams from My Father, Obama describes his Indonesian

interlude as "one lo ng adventure, the bounty of a young boy's life". But he also recalls being

troubled by the poverty around him: "the empty look on the faces of farmers the year the

rains never came," and the desperation of the disabled beggars who came to the family's

door.

"The world was violent, I was learning, unpredictable and o ften cruel," he writes. Obama and

his mother thus we were very well acquainted with the harsh realities of indigenous

Indonesians.

I note you dont mention his most obvious Indonesian connection, his little Indonesian sister

Maya who is in the picture alongside young Barry.

What I found most interesting about Obamas mother is that she seems like a right airhead,

flitting around the world picking up one culture then d ropping an d running off to pick up the

next one, as if her life was one never e nding e thnic smorgasbord.

It is particularly noticeable that one of the reasons Ann and Lolo broke up was because he, a

western educated, intelligent, up and coming modern Indonesian man became more western

in his lifestyle and outlook while his wife wanted to live a fantasy life as a Javanese kampungwoman.

Thank goodne ss Barack had his sensible grand mother to teach him a bit of sense, it is only

a pity that the woman would not live long enough to see her beloved protege be elected

president.

Its interesting that so many Muslims like him a great deal, see as hes the worst kind of

infidel (kafir). A normal run-of-the-mill, lifelong Jew or Buddhist is considered an infidel by

Muslims. However, a person who has renounced Islam and converted to another faith in

Obamas case, Christianity then that person is the worst kind of sinner/evildoer there is,

according to Muslims.

No technically, our Constitution has certain rules and requirements for eligibility to become

the Presiden t. One must be a natural born citiz en of the US. There are some who say the

Hawaiin birth certificate posted on Obamas website is a forgery and have requested that he

produce the vault cert. There is a law suit before the supreme court requesting the certificate

be produced. There is also the idea that he was adopted by Lolo Soetoro which would have

revoked his american citizenship. I dont know Im not a lawyer and dont understand all the

legalities. Im just saying that natural born citizenship is a legal requirement for presidency;

one can n ot be a naturalized citizen, you must be natural born citizen.

Thats right. The US Constitution appli es to the federal (n ational ) governmen t only. Each state

also h as its own constitution, which specifies the req uirements for govern or of that state. The

federal constitution says (in Article II, Section I):

No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the

time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of

President; neither shall any pe rson be eligible to that office who shall n ot have

attained to the ag e of thirty five years, and be en fourteen Years a resid ent within

the United States.

Schwarzene gger was born in Austria, and so can never become president of the US. People

who like h im joke abo ut passing an Arnold Amend ment to the US Constitution that would get

aroun d the restriction. Its not something that would eve r happ en, but its an amusing idea.

The father and mother had their differences and separated amicably- Ann Dunham moving to

Indonesia.

I am sure the legitimacy of his US birth to be President would have been one of the first

questions the Democrat Caucus would have investigated thoroughly- imagine the

embarrassment if they screwed that one up.

a Governor of a state. Do you know the difference between being a Governor of a state and

being President of the United States? The natural born citizenship clause of the Constitution

doesn t apply to the state of California.

Heres what the natural born citizenship clause of the Constitution says: BOTH parents must

be U.S. citizens and the birth MUST be on U.S. soil. Obamas father is Kenyan (or British

since Kenya was under British rule in 1961) so thats STRIKE ONE. Obamas own

grandmother admitted to watching Obama being born in Kenya. STRIKE TWO! Obamas

mother moved to Indonesia , and Indon esia forbids d ual- citizensh ip laws. STRIKE THREE!

Obama is NOT qualified to be the President even if he does magically produces an authentic

birth certificate. When he moved to Indonesia, that automatically voided his U.S. citizenship.

Time for the Supreme Court to do their jobs, and remove the Obamamessiah from reaching

the White House.
