Principal’s Message
Celebrating at BVS
Be The Best You Can Be
Wellbeing
Principal’s Message Education Week is an opportunity for us to showcase and celebrate some of the excellent educational experiences our students participate in at BVS. This year Education Week runs from 20-26th May and is all about celebrating The Arts. As usual we will have events on at school during this time but we are kick starting the program with a visit by Krazy Koala Puppets next Tuesday. Two performances will be held in the hall for students from both Learning Communities. Don’t forget that Year 7 and Year 10 Flu immunisations will be held at school on Monday 7th May. Please ensure your child has short sleeves on to assist Barwon Health Staff in this process. Julie Brown Acting Principal

BVAC Visit to GPAC Bridge Adventurous Journey As part of the Bridge Award, all the BVAC students had their first ‘adventurous journey’ to GPAC yesterday. They ate lunch on the steps and seats behind the Art Gallery in Johnstone Park before walking past the library and across the road to GPAC. The show they saw was ‘Creature’ based on the very old children’s story of Dot and the Kangaroo. The students enjoyed the show and were all great role models for the school. Thanks to the staff, students and volunteers for helping us to enjoy a great day out!
