Creating the basin.

1. Open up the Second Life viewer from your desktop and log in.

2. Click on the build option from the menu at the top of the screen.

3. Go the select building tool and when the next menu opens up click on create tool.

4. Note: A screen should open up with many shapes at the top.

5. Click on the cone.6. Note: your arrow indicator for your

mouse should look something like a wand.

7. Click on an empty spot in Second Life and a cone should appear.

8. Click on the Object tab, which is under the Link and Unlink buttons.

9. Under the Size section there should be the letters X, Y and Z with an input box next to each letter.

10. Delete the numbers in the input boxes next to the letters X, Y and Z and replace the ones in X and Y with 9 and Z with 9.07.

11. Note: The cone should have stretched and became bigger.

12. Under the Taper section replace the numbers in the input box of X and Y with 0.45.

13. Under the Slice section replace the number in the input box next to E with 0.625.

14. Note: By now you should have something that looks like this.

15. Above Taper there is a section called Path Cut, replace the number in the input box next to E with the number 0.575.

16. Below the section called Path Cut there is a section called Hollow; replace the number in the input box with 90.

17. Click and hold on the cone that was just made, while pressing the shift button drag the shape over and a duplicate copy will be made.

18. For this new cone that was just duplicated, change the Path cut E to 0.45.

19. Next you will match the two pieces up so they form the shape in the screen shot under step 8. You will do this using the move and the rotate tools towards the top of the screen where you made all the other adjustments.

20. Tip: The move and the rotate tools are easy to use once you have clicked on a shape for the move tool there will be 3 lines each in a different axis one in the Y direction which is green, one in the X direction which is red and one in the Z direction which is blue. All u do is click on one of the axis and move the object along so it goes where you want it to go.

21. For the rotate tool it is the same but instead of the object moving linearly along each axis it will rotate on the axis you choose.

22. Once you have moved and rotated the objects so they form the figure in screenshot below step 8 click on the object which Path Cut equals .45 for this object. Once you have clicked on it got to the section called texture which is in the same area as where you found the object tab.

23. Click on the square called texture and click blank.24. Next click on the square called color and choose white.25. Under the section transparency and replace the number with 86.

28. Once you have done this click on one part of the shell and while holding the shift key on the key board and click on the other piece after you have done this click on the link button which should be right above the object tab.

30. Go the select building tool and when the next menu opens up click on create tool.

and a cone should appear. 33. For the cone you just created go to Size

and type in the values for X: 10, Y: 10, Z: 1.435.

34. Type in for Path Cut E: 0.42535. Type in for Hollow 50.36. Type in for Taper X: 0.10 and Y: 0.05.37. Type in for Slice E: 0.625.

38. Click and hold on the cone that was just made, while pressing the shift button drag the shape over and a duplicate copy will be made.

39. Change the Path cut for the duplicated cone so that E: 0.575.

40. Now use the move and rotate tools to arrange the two pieces of the base to form a circle.

41. Repeat steps for the other cone just made.

42. Click on the cone with the Path Cut E: 0.425.

43. Change the transparency to 86 for that cone.

44. Once you have done this click on one part of the shell and while holding the shift key on the key board and click on the other piece after you

45. have done this click on the link button which should be right above the object tab.

46. Take the shell and place it on top of the base using the move and rotate tools.

47. Make sure the transparent parts of each object are on top of each other and on the same side.
