Economically Madrid is fourth richest country in Europe. It is a main business and financial

centre of Spain.

Official symbol of Madrid

is „madroño” – the bear which is climbing on strawberry tree.

Official language is spanish.

Today the currency of Spain is Euro, earlier it

was Peseta.

and lush nightlife.

Real Madrid Club de Fútbol. One of

the most popular teams of the world

created in 1902. Name of their stadium is

Santiago Bernabéu.The spectators calling them

„Los Galacticos”
