What differentiates LIGHTINSIDER from traditional powder lighters? The non-ammonia cream lightener provides optimum conditioning, can be used on or off scalp, and produces up to 6 levels of lift with steady processing.

Can LIGHTINSIDER be used on the scalp?Yes, LIGHTINSIDER can be used for both on-scalp and off-scalp applications with 3% (10V) or 6% (20V)or 9% (30V) Colorinsider Oil-Cream Developer.

What does ODS stand for?‘ODS’ stands for Oil Delivery System. Unlike traditional lightening systems which are water-based, LIGHTINSIDER contains oil. This oil-rich system maximizes the efficiency of the lightening processby facilitating the delivery of active ingredients into the hair fiber, optimizing their effect.

How does ODS work?LIGHTINSIDER’s Injection ODS utilizes the latest Oil Delivery System (ODS) technology to boost the active lightening ingredients (persulfates, MEA and H2O2) when applied to hair. It ensures improved fiber respect with 27% more conditioning (vs. traditional ammoniated powder lightener), maximizing the effectivenessof the lightening system.

What ALKALI is used?LIGHTINSIDER uses MEA (monoethanolamine) and sodium metasilicate as its alkaline agents and does not use ammonia. MEA is a common alkaline agent that can be found in some permanent haircolors.

Can LIGHTINSIDER be used with any developer? No. LIGHTINSIDER is an ODS lightening system has its own designated developer and has been formulated specifically for use with COLORINSIDER Oil-Cream Developer.

Can LIGHTINSIDER be used with different strengths of Oil-Cream Developer?Yes, LIGHTINSIDER is designed to be used with different strengths of Colorinsider Oil-Cream Developer. The desired lift will determine the strength used 3% (10V) or 6% (20V) or 9% (30V).

How is LIGHTINSIDER mixed?1 sachet (27g powder) + 1 tube (30g cream) + 90ml of Colorinsider Oil-Cream Developer; one box = one application Shake powder sachet to loosen contents. Open sachet and carefully pour entire contents (27g) into a non-metallic bowl Slowly add 3% (10V), 6% (20V) or 9% (30V) Colorinsider Oil-Cream Developer. Mix until blended. Add tube (30 g) of Lightening Cream and mix again.

Do all the three components need to be used with the LIGHTINSIDER system?Yes, LIGHTINSIDER has a unique mixing formula and all three components are required to achievean optimum result.

Is a precise application important with LIGHTINSIDER?As with any decolorizing service, it is recommended to use fine sections for optimal results.Finer sub-sections along with a precise application will provide lighter, more even results.

Can LIGHTINSIDER be mixed with Colorinsider? No. LIGHTINSIDER cannot be mixed with Colorinsider or any other haircolor.

Can heat be used for processing? No. LIGHTINSIDER has been developed to work at room temperature for up to 50 minutes. Do not use heat.

Who is the LIGHTINSIDER client? The LIGHTINSIDER client wants best-in-class lightening system, a comfortable odor-free salon experience, and conditioned, shiny results. It is perfect for those clients being introduced to a lightening process for the first time. It is also a good option for over-processed, fragile fine hair, and on different textures of hair.
