Alternatively we can prime the figure using Hobby Paint Spray Black 28.012. Using a paint brush, the entire armor is edge highlighted with a mixture of Model Color Turquoise 70.966 and Model Color Blue Green 70.808. To finish the armor, Model Color Sky Blue 70.961 is applied very carefully around these scratches, to replicate a damaged effect on the armor. 1 4 7 A mixture of Mecha Color Turquoise 69.023 and a little Model Air Black 71.057 is applied across the armor using the airbrush. Another layer of edge highlighting is done, but this time focusing only on the outermost corners and edges, with a mixture of Model Color Blue Green 70.808 and Model Color Sky Blue 70.961. Mecha Color Turquoise 69.023 is applied using an airbrush, this time focusing on the areas that receive the most light, leaving the recesses and lower areas in the previous darker color. To create some battle damage quickly and easily, we paint scratches on the armor with dark brown.
