I think that the magazine publisher that is most likely to promote my magazine would be Beauer media and this is because they manage magazines such as

Kerrang and my magazine will be targeting the same audience as Kerrang as my magazine will have a pop punk genre.

Bauer media is widely known and has a target audience of over 22 million UK adults every week which will help promote my magazine and allow it to

become widely recognised in the UK before I am able to branch off into other countries.

As it’s so well known as an institute, promoting and advertising will be easier and cheaper as the advertising that will be done will be more effective so most

of the money can be put into producing the magazine to it’s best standard.

BAUER MEDIA

When it comes to publishing my magazine one way that people are finding out

about new magazines is online. The majority of people have changed to

reading their magazines online and it’s mainly the young adults who don’t have

time to read a paper copy. For this reason I would promote my magazine

online on popular social media websites such as Twitter and Facebook and

create my own webpage for my magazine.

I will also sell my magazine in popular retail shops such as WHSmiths,

supermarkets and newsagents. This allows my magazine to be broadly

advertised and for my target audience to be stretched and my magazine will

be easily accessible.

SELLING

Bauer Media would be a good institute to publish my magazine because along

with publishing magazines they have also established other media aspects such

as TVs and radios which gives my magazine other opportunities to be noticed.

Bauer magazine is also a multi- platform UK-based media group so it

would be local to my magazine so communication would be easier. Along

with this as they have such a broad range of media, competitors will

struggle to keep up allowing my magazine to be widely published and to be

more successful.
