1. GENERAL1.1 These instructions are supplementary to, and must be read

in conjunction with, the Installation Instructions (PM274 for Riva Studio) supplied with the fire.

1.2 Allow for the connection of the following: - Electrical services (for fan installation) using the opening

in the outside of the chimney breast for access. - The Outside Air kit (optional) - Convection Ducting kit (Optional) - The flue system

2. SECURING THE FRAME TO THE FIRE

The fitting of the frame requires 2 people

2.1 To attach the frame: •Lineuptheframewiththeholesontheappliancebody,

2.2 Secure the frame to the appliance body using the screws and nuts provided:

Studio 1 - 5x Screws and nuts Studio 2 - 6x Screws and nuts Studio 3 - 8x Screws and nuts (See Diagram 2).

2.3 Build the studwork or brick masonry chimney breast to support the cassette, Diagram 3 & 4. Fit non combustible board to studwork/frame/masonry to finish flush with the front edge of the flange.

This should be done in conjunction with the section on installation of the Edge kit in the Riva Studio Cassette Manual for Installation and Use (Stovax No. PM274).

2.4 Apply heat resistant plaster to the board cut to the dimensions stated in the Studio Instruction manual (Stovax Part No. PM274).

1.2 Fitting of the frame must be carried out after the appliance has been fully installed and commissioning tests completed.

1.3 To fix the brackets see PM274 Installation Instructions. There are multiple brackets to secure the top and bottom of

the frame, see Diagram 2 and table below.

2. SECURING FRAME TO THE FIRE

The fitting of the frame requires 2 people

2.1 To attach the frame: •Lowerthebottomfixingangleontothebottombrackets

and then slot the top brackets under the top brackets attached to the appliance flange, Diagram 3

2.2 Secure the frame to the brackets behind the top of the frame, Diagram 4 & 5

The door must be open or removed (see PM274) to tighten the screws.

USER INSTRUCTIONS

1. CLEANING THE FRAME

Only clean the frame when it is cold.

The painted surfaces of the Flat Steel frame should be cleaned using a damp cloth and buffed with a lint free duster.

Glass Frame Note: Warning - the edges and corners of this product can be

easily damaged during installation. Leave the protective edging on during handling and only remove when fully installed.

Before fitting the frame please ensure correct fixing brackets are attached to the outer box flange.
