RELO T ION
It is with great pleasure and reliefthat we are able to report to y
our
successful relocation to Grand Junction, Colorado. We
actually say that we are settled in Our household goods arri
in almost perfect condition, which is a minor miracle its
The arranging
of
furniture, placing
of
pictures and unpacking
boxes seemed almost simple. Traveling out in the car required t
and one-half days and was a pleasant experience. The scenery
Colorado (includingthe westem slopesof the Rockies as it is ca

Tennessee ( ), but it is beautiful in its own way. As we journe
through Kansas and Colorado we frequently had mental pictur
flash through our minds reminiscent of the Republic of South Af
and
Switzerland,
and
even the Great Smoky Mountains n
Knoxville. The Grand Junction area of Colorado (about thirty m
from the Utah border) is actually a desert region which has b
reclaimed through irrigation. The contrast is ever-present since
have lush, green areas and dry eroded areas. God's beautiful wo

TURKISH
WORLD OUTREACH
Our new name^
Turkish World Outreach
TWO
becomes
official on the first day ofJanuary,
1997.
Sinceotir outreach
is to the Turkish community worldwide, the new name more
accurately reflects
our
mission. There
are
seven
independent Turkish nations accessible in one way or
another to Christian workers, and we TWO want to be
significantly involved in sending workers into those seven
nations, as well as many other areas of the world where
Turks live. Church-planting teams in these areas remain a
high priority for TWO. We continue to provide Scripture,
Christian literatureand videos in fifteen Turkish languages.
THE UM NNS
Marti continues to teach
in
a
Christian
school here
in Grand
Junction She loves her work and she is blessed to be
workingwith a staffthat is united in their goals. Jeff, Robbie
and the twins Stephen and Katherine - three and one-half
years old are still living in Stockbridge, Georgia, with
Jeff
serving as an Analyst
with
Delta Air Lines. Russell and
Amy have beenworking hard, fixingup their home in south
Knoxville. Russell is an architect with Community
Tectonics, and Amy is a student at the University of
Tennessee in
Knoxville.
Suscin
continues as a fifth grade
teacher at the Rocky Hill Elementary School in Knoxville,
and she enjoys singing with the Knoxville Choral
Society.
Andrew is one-half of the way through his sophomore year
at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and he is
planning to major in political science.

THOSE
WHO
LEAD
MANY TO
RIGHTEOUSNESS
SHALL SHINE LIKE THE STARS FOREVER
AND
EVER
DANIEL
12 : 3
What a wonderful and marvelous verse to live by. Every
time we wake up we should ask God to bring someone our
way
so that
we
might
have
the opportunity
to
tell
them
of
Christ; ...to lead them to righteousness. We may reside
locally, or we may work on the foreign field. At home it
seems more and more that there are great numbers who do
not believe and obey. Our court
system
is
hostile
to
anything
Christian
or moral; Christian principles are no
allowed
to be taught in our
public
schools; some of our
military
training centers are unbelievably amoral; living
together , abortion
and
the gay
lifestyle
literally
surround
us; some large Protestantgroups are attempting to rewrite
the Word of God; church attendance has dropped to its
lowest level in two decades. Let us pray that God will lead
someone our way today, and every day Let each of us be
numbered among
...those
who lead
many
to
righteousness... We at TWO are devoting our lives to
leading
many
to
righteousness.
Through our
volunteer
Gospel
Letters program
(alone) letters go
outevery
month
to
about 12,000 different Turks in the world with the message
of Christ. That s close to
150,000
letters a year. Our goal: to
lead many Tiuks to righteousness.
CHURCH-BUILDING TEAMS
A great wish
of mine
is to be
involved
with a team
tha
would go out
to
construct church buildings for groups o
Turkish believers in various parts of the world
Unfortunately it is
almost impossible
to do
this
in
mos
places that are somewhat closed to New
Testamen
evangelism.
There
is not only
opposition to
this by th
Islamic radicals, but also by some so-called Christia
groups. We are investigating one such possibility at thi
time. Please
pray
vrith
usfor
open
doors
to
such ventures.
