Initial Setup of Hybris Marketing

1 PurposeThis building block provides the necessary steps to carry out the initial setup of SAP Hybris Marketing. After the initial setup has been executed successfully, the SAP Hybris Marketing frontend application is available. Important: You must have implemented all prerequisite steps as described in the Prerequisites chapter before executing the initial setup of SAP Hybris Marketing.

2 Preparation2.1 PrerequisitesBefore executing the configuration instructions described below, the following activities must have been performed: 1. You have identified the relevant deployment scenario (refer to the SAP Hybris Marketing

installation guide, chapter Deployment Scenarios: http://help.sap.com/mkt ® Installation and Upgrade Information ® Installation Guide).

2. The appropriate system landscape is installed and configured. For details regarding the software components and support package levels used to build the rapid-deployment solution, refer to the Software and Delivery Requirements document that you find at http://service.sap.com/rds-ymkt ® scroll down to Check Requirements; for details regarding the installation itself refer to the SAP Hybris Marketing installation guide (up to chapter 5 including all subchapters).

If in your system there is one client set up for SAP Hybris Marketing and one client for SAP Business Warehouse (BW), make sure that the BW-related settings have been implemented as described in the Basic Settings for Hybris Marketing (CEB) building block.

3. IMPORTANT: You have implemented the prerequisite building block Basic Settings for Hybris Marketing (CEB) including all prerequisites listed in this building block.

4. If you want to replicate SAP ERP or SAP CRM data via SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server, you must have implemented the SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server Settings (CET) building block.

5. All SAP Notes as listed in the SAP Hybris Marketing release information note (1885803 or 1933146, depending on your Software version level) in the Notes to be installed before executing Chapter 6/Installation Guide or after you have executed all steps in Chapter 2/Upgrade Guide section have been implemented.

2.2 Users and AuthorizationsRefer to the Basic Settings for Hybris Marketing (CEB) building block that describes in detail which users are relevant for basic setup. The same users described there are also relevant for the initial setup of SAP Hybris Marketing.

3 Configuration3.1 Technical Configuration of SAP Hybris Marketing

Before proceeding with the following implementation steps, make sure that all settings of the Preparation chapter (chapter 2) have been implemented.

The initial setup of SAP Hybris Marketing should be carried out by executing the technical configuration wizard that guides you through the initial setup steps. As an alternative to the wizard, you can carry out the initial setup by executing the CUAN_INITIAL_SETUP task list in transaction STC01. Both options, technical configuration wizard and initial setup task list, are described below. Choose your preferred option and execute the initial setup based on that option. During the initial setup, diverse setup activities are executed automatically in the background. For example, predelivered SAP HANA and Business Warehouse content are activated automatically. You can display all tasks that are automatically executed during initial setup in transaction STC01 ® enter task list CUAN_INITIAL_SETUP ® choose Generate Task List Run (F8). On the Maintain Task List Run CUAN_INITIAL_SETUP_nnnnnnnnnnnnnn screen you see all tasks that can be executed automatically during the initial setup. You can display the documentation per task by choosing the Show Task Documentation option in the Help column. The parameters you maintain for the initial setup decide which of the tasks are actually executed in your system.Depending on your chosen deployment scenario (refer to the SAP Hybris Marketing installation guide at http://help.sap.com/mkt ® Installation and Upgrade Information ® Installation Guide), different parameters must be set for the initial setup execution. In the Parameters for Initial Setup chapter below you find details about the generic parameters and those specific to the deployment scenario you have chosen. Enter those parameters in the technical configuration wizard or your task list run as relevant for your implementation.

Replicating SAP ERP or SAP CRM DataIf you want to implement the Hub-Deployment With Separate SAP HANA System deployment scenario and replicate data via SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server, note that it is possible to maintain the relevant parameters and options during initial setup already. In that case the initial setup wizard or task list will start the replication automatically during initial setup of Hybris Marketing. Important: The drawback of choosing this option during initial setup is that starting the replication might take a long time and thus the initial setup might only be completed after many hours or even days. That is why our recommendation for the Hub-Deployment With Separate SAP HANA System deployment scenario is to not select the Deployment: SAP ERP Replication and Deployment: SAP CRM Replication options during initial setup. Instead choose Deployment: No SAP ERP Data and Deployment: No SAP CRM Data. This will lead to a quick initial setup after which you can already access the Hybris Marketing application frontend. In this case, to start data replication after initial setup execute the activities described in the following chapters:

3.1.3 Integrating SAP ERP Data (Optional) 3.1.4 Integrating SAP CRM Data (Optional) 3.1.5 Allow for Complete Table Replication (Optional)

SAP Best Practices Initial Setup of Hybris Marketing (CED): Configuration Guide

If you do not want to use SAP ERP or SAP CRM data in SAP Hybris Marketing, you can execute the initial setup accordingly without integrating to an SAP ERP or SAP CRM back-end system. In that case, choose the Deployment: No SAP ERP Data and Deployment: No SAP CRM Data options. The relevant external data must be loaded after initial setup and on customer project basis. The rapid data load for SAP Hybris Marketing solution delivers predefined samples to load diverse sets of external data.

3.1.1 Executing Initial Setup with Technical Configuration Wizard

UseYou can execute the initial setup of SAP Hybris Marketing either via technical configuration wizard or manually via a task list. Choose either of the two options. If you execute the initial setup via wizard, do not execute it via initial setup task list (as described in the Executing Initial Setup with Task List chapter). In the following activity the initial setup via technical configuration wizard is described.

Note that when using this wizard, the system starts to execute specific setup steps each time you access the next page of the wizard. Therefore do not click through the wizard if you do not want to start the initial setup, or if the initial setup has already been executed in your system.

PrerequisitesThe initial setup may only be executed once in a system. To check whether the initial setup has already been executed, proceed like this: 1. Access the transaction choosing the following navigation option:

Transaction code STC02

2. On the Task List Run Monitor screen, maintain the following values:

Field Entry

Task List CUAN_INITIAL_SETUP

Task List Run Status

<select all status>

4. The Task List Runs screen displays whether or not the initial setup has already been started or executed successfully: If there is an entry CUAN_INITIAL_SETUP_x with status Finished successfully, do

not execute the technical configuration wizard! If there is an entry CUAN_INITIAL_SETUP_x with a status other than Finished

successfully, double-click the entry to find out details about the task list run. If the task list run was stopped at the first step, navigate back to the Task List

Runs screen and delete the entry. If the initial setup started to execute and stopped at any of the task list steps,

resume the task list run from transaction STC02. Do not start the initial setup wizard (again).

Procedure1. To start the initial setup via wizard, log on to the Hybris Marketing system using the SAP

GUI.2. Access the transaction choosing the following navigation option:

Transaction code CUAN_INITIAL_SETUP

3. The wizard guides you through the steps. Follow the instructions given on each page and then continue to the next page.

In case the BW client of your ABAP system does not correspond to the Hybris Marketing client, you must have implemented the settings described in the Configuration of Operational Analytics and Easy Query Environment chapters of the Basic Settings for Hybris Marketing (CEB) configuration guide. In the case of separate clients, the wizard execution might stop at the Set up BW Client and SAP HANA Connection for Operational Data Provisioning step. In this case we recommend to stop the initial setup execution via wizard. Instead, open the CUAN_INITIAL_SETUP_x task list run in transaction STC02 and resume the initial setup here by choosing Start/Resume Task List Run in Background (F9).At Setup Easy Query Environment the task list run might stop again. Again, resume the initial setup by choosing Start/Resume Task List Run in Background (F9). To manually activate the BI content in your BW client, refer to the 3.2 Activation of SAP NetWeaver BI Content chapter.

Error HandlingIn case the wizard execution stops due to any error, we recommend to resume the initial setup in transaction STC02.

Jobs Run During Initial SetupNote that during initial setup execution several background jobs are executed automatically, in case you selected the relevant solutions and integration options. To get an overview of these jobs, refer to the SAP Hybris Marketing installation guide (http://help.sap.com/mkt ® Installation and Upgrade Information ® Installation Guide), chapter Parameters Set by the Technical Configuration Wizard.

ResultThe initial setup of Hybris Marketing has been completed.

ResultThe initial setup of Hybris Marketing has been completed.

3.1.3 Integrating SAP ERP Data via SAP LT (Optional)

UseThis chapter is relevant for you if you want to replicate SAP ERP data via SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server (SAP LT). If not, skip this activity. In the following use cases, set up the replication of SAP ERP data as described below. This activity will automatically activate the data replication for all SAP ERP tables that are relevant for the licensed solutions you choose. You do not need to set up data replication manually! The relevant use cases are:

You have executed the initial setup of Hybris Marketing without choosing the Deployment: SAP ERP Replication option during the initial setup.

You had to reconfigure an existing SAP LT configuration.

If you want to replicate data from both SAP ERP and SAP CRM, execute one of the relevant task lists (CUAN_SETUP_ERPCONTENT and

You have executed the initial setup of SAP Hybris Marketing without choosing the Deployment: SAP CRM Replication option during the initial setup.

You had to reconfigure an existing SAP LT configuration.

If you want to replicate data from both SAP ERP and SAP CRM, execute one of the relevant task lists (CUAN_SETUP_ERPCONTENT and CUAN_SETUP_CRMCONTENT) described below completely. Only after the one task list run was executed successfully, start with the other task list execution. Do not execute the two task lists in parallel, because this will cause inconsistencies in the system and the activation of the replication will fail.

If you have already set up data replication from your SAP CRM system into the SAP Hybris Marketing system, skip this chapter.

Procedure1. Log on to the SAP Hybris Marketing system using the SAP GUI.2. Access the transaction choosing the following navigation option:

Transaction code CUAN_CRM_CONFIG

Alternatively you can access transaction STC01 and select the CUAN_SETUP_CRMCONTENT task list, then choose Generate Task List Run (F8).

Marketing application is installed in a different client than the Business Warehouse (BW) capabilities. If Hybris Marketing and BW are installed in the same client, the BI content has been activated during initial setup. In this case, skip the following activity. In case of two clients – one for Hybris Marketing, one for BW – proceed with the below procedure.

UseIn this activity you activate Business Intelligence (BI) content bundles for SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse (BW) for SAP Hybris Marketing.

If you have separate clients in your system, one client for BI content and one client for Hybris Marketing content, execute this activity in the BW client.

Make sure that the user who activates BI content bundles has at least the following authorization roles assigned: • SAP_BC_SIW_DEV • SAP_BC_WEBSERVICE_DEBUGGER• SAP_BC_WEBSERVICE_ADMIN_TEC • SAP_BC_BGRFC_SUPERVISOR

Only activate the BI content once the SAP HANA content activation has been successfully completed.

Test and Productive systems: The following sequence describes the activation of BI Content using the BI Content Activation Workbench and it is to be used for development (and configuration) systems only. During the activation, the activated content is attached to a transport. In case of test and production systems the BI Content Activation Workbench is not used. In this case, to create the BI content, you just need to import the transport previously created in the development system.

Procedure1. Log on to the Hybris Marketing system (BW client) using the SAP GUI.2. Access the activity using the following navigation option:

Transaction code BSANLY_BI_ACTIVATION

3. On the BI Content activation Workbench: Content Bundle Overview screen, select the CUAN_BI_CONTENT bundle.

4. Choose Activate Content Bundle.5. On the BI Content Activation Workbench: Activate Content Bundle screen, in the RFC

Destination for Content Objects field, enter NONE as RFC Destination.

If you have separate clients in your SAP Hybris Marketing system, one for BW and one for Hybris Marketing, make sure that you execute this activity in the BW client.

6. For Source Systems for DataSource Replication, choose Current Logon Client.7. For Treatment of Already Active Content Objects, choose Automatic.8. Select the Install All Collected Objects checkbox.9. Choose Activate Content Bundle (Shift+F8).

10. In the Activation of BI Content dialog box, choose Activate with Transport.

If the Select Source Systems dialog is displayed, navigate to the relevant system and RFC destination, select the entry, and choose Continue (Enter).

11. After the activation has been completed, the system displays the status information (Activation finished) in the Activation Status for Selected RFC Destination field.

12. Repeat the same steps for the CUAN_CRM_BI_CONTENT and CUAN_LOY_CONTENT bundles.

13. Choose Back.

ResultSAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse BI content bundles are active.

3.2.1 Checking Generation of Easy Queries

UseAfter BI content activation (automated during initial setup or manually as described in the chapter above), easy queries should be generated automatically. In this activity you check whether this is the case in your system. If it is not the case, regenerate the easy queries manually.

Procedure1. Log on to your SAP Hybris Marketing client.2. Access the transaction choosing the following navigation option:

Transaction code EQMANAGER

3. On the Easy Query Management <system/client> screen, for the CUAN... queries, verify that you find a current time stamp in the Change Date for Query column.

4. If no current time stamp is maintained in the Change Date for Query column, select one of the CUAN... queries and choose Regenerate Easy Query.

5. Repeat the regeneration for all CUAN... queries for which no change date is displayed.

ResultEasy queries are generated and available for the Hybris Marketing application.

3.3 Generating URL to Access the Application User Interface

UseIn this activity you generate the URL required to log on to the SAP Hybris Marketing UI5 user interface.

If you want to access SAP Hybris Marketing via SAP Fiori launchpad only, refer to the SAP Fiori Settings for Hybris Marketing (CEH) building block.

ProcedureCreate the start URL that all end users should use like this:

https://<fully qualified domain name of your SAP Web Dispatcher>:<HTTPS Port of SAP Web Dispatcher>/sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/cuan_shell/index.html#HOME

Contact your system administrator to retrieve the correct Web Dispatcher address.

If you are logged on to the AS ABAP system, you can launch the user interface using the transaction START_CEI.

ResultThe URL for SAP Hybris Marketing logon is identified. Distribute it to all users who must access the application. In the Business Roles and User Management for Hybris Marketing(CEQ) building block you find the documentation, which business roles have to be assigned to an application user so that Hybris Marketing can be accessed.

3.4 Implementing Settings Relevant for Deployment Scenario C

UseIf you have chosen to implement deployment scenario C, that is a shared SAP HANA database of SAP Hybris Marketing and either SAP ERP or SAP CRM, you must take care of two additional activities. These are not relevant for all other deployment scenarios. For details of these additional activities, refer to the SAP Hybris Marketing installation guide at http://help.sap.com/mkt ® Installation and Upgrade Information ® Installation Guide:

Deployment Scenario C: Adjusting Customizing (chapter 7.15) Deployment Scenario C: Customizing via SAP Solution Manager (chapter 7.16)

3.5 Completing SAP Notes ImplementationUseAfter having completed all relevant configuration steps of the configuration guide, remember to check in the release information note whether you need to implement further SAP notes.

Procedure1. Access the release information note relevant for your system: 1885803 for the most

current release or 1933146 for a former release.2. Review the SAP notes listed in the Notes to be installed after you have finished the

Installation Guide or Upgrade Guide section and implement the relevant SAP notes.
