In order to complement the academic programme and make student learning relevant to the world outside school, as well as to promote personal and social development, The School offers frequent outings and field trips related to its curriculum areas.

These include practical geography field trips, cultural and linguistic outings and a yearly primary camp which focuses on outdoor pursuits.

Model United Nations (also Model UN or MUN) is a conference similar to the United Nations in which students participate as delegates to various UN Committees.

Participants research and formulate political positions based on the actual countries. Model United Nations was formed from the Model League of Nations.

Enriching each student’s internal artistic expression and creative thinking through the development of external technical skill, process and problem solving is the focus of Visual Arts program.

The curriculum provides a vocabulary and set of tools to enable each student to analyse and synthesize individual thought, perception, and passion and to share the outcome with the entire community.

Students at BDSIS are achieving excellent results in both the IGCSE and the IBDP examination. Students achieved 45 points (the maximum score) in the IBDP.
