More than material things, Floribert Villamor, a seafarer of MST Marine Services, wants to give his son good education.

“I am happy to attend my son’s graduation from elementary this month,” he said.

Villamor has been a seafarer since 1998. He goes home once a year to be with his wife and son, who are based in Cebu. Like any other seafarers, the big salary enticed him to be a seaman.

Currently, Villamor already owns a house and lot. “I also have a two-storey commercial building for lease.”

His wife and son are his inspiration in all the hard work he does. His only wish is for his son to study hard.

“I’m saving for my son’s education and our future, that’s why I opened a BDO Kabayan Savings Account,” he said. “I want to be an Asenso Kabayan member to avail of other services of BDO, such as loans. I want to grow the money through investments.”

Like Villamor, Erwin del Rosario is very proud that his son is also graduating from elementary. “It’s still a long way to go, so I’m really preparing for the future of my children,” he said.

Del Rosario already maintains a BDO Kabayan Shipping Dollar Account for his savings. “Now, I also opened a BDO Kabayan Savings Account, so I can save more,” he said.
