Be a Caring Candle! Holiday Giving Show Someone You Care! Dear Families, Wow! We cannot believe it is December. Thanksgiving is over and now we are moving towards the holiday season. Our vision is to encourage the ideas of thanks and giving as we continue into the holiday season. Although we are experiencing unprecedented times, we still need to remember not only our traditions, but also the true meaning of the holiday season. In order to do this, we would like your child to participate in the “Caring Candle” activity. This activity is designed to have your child experience the gift of giving to others. This can be done at home, with extended family, and/or with neighbors in the community. Please encourage your child to think of ways they can lend a helping hand this month. The goal of this activity is to have your child do a kind act for someone else, while experiencing a heartfelt feeling in completing the act. Everyone needs some positivity in their lives. Giving is a great way to achieve this feeling! Upon completing the project, please have your child complete the Caring Candle Certicate. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year! Thank you for all your efforts!

    Dear Families,

    Wow! We cannot believe it is December. Thanksgiving is over and now weare moving towards the holiday season. Our vision is to encourage theideas of thanks and giving as we continue into the holiday season.Although we are experiencing unprecedented times, we still need toremember not only our traditions, but also the true meaning of theholiday season.

    In order to do this, we would like your child to participate in the “CaringCandle” activity. This activity is designed to have your child experiencethe gift of giving to others. This can be done at home, with extendedfamily, and/or with neighbors in the community. Please encourage yourchild to think of ways they can lend a helping hand this month. The goal of this activity is to have yourchild do a kind act for someone else, while experiencing a heartfelt feeling in completing the act.Everyone needs some positivity in their lives.
