Artillery

Easily integrated weapons systems for the battlefield of the future: The modular upgrade of the proven M109 armoured howitzer and the highly effective RUAG COBRA mortar system can’t fail to impress with optimised firepower, mobility and security, to name but a few examples.

We have vast experience and well-grounded knowledge of developing, manufacturing and maintaining a variety of weapon systems and armoured vehicles – know-how that can be adapted to related systems in collaboration with the manufacturing companies.

The Leopard platform family

Our systems expertise and comprehensive engineering capabilities give us the ability to mod-ernise and upgrade the Leopard 2A4 main battle tank system, carrying out conversions that provide lasting value. The result is innovative products, such as the WE Leopard upgrade configuration with a new FIS HE command and control system, the armoured vehicle launched bridge and, in a consortium with Rheinmetall, the KODIAK armoured engineer and mine clearance vehicle.
