In our effort to internationalize UNPAR and provide our students with international opportunities, the Office for International Affairs and Cooperation
(OIAC) is inviting you to
Be Unpar’s Delegation! Be UNPAR’s Delegation is an integrated
recruitment program for UNPAR students to take part in international activities abroad. The students
will have the opportunity to experience international exposure through a wide-range of
programs provided by UNPAR’s partner universities. As the BUDes, students will represent
UNPAR internationally, making new friends, and expand their insights across cultural background.
The BUD program is divided into three subcategories: Student Exchange (SE), Study
Abroad (SA), and Short Program (SP).

Student ExchangeStudy AbroadShort Program
Student Exchange Student Exchange is a program where UNPAR will exchange students to study at partner universities. UNPAR provides opportunities for students to enroll for 1 (one) semester at our partner universities. Students can choose to study in UNPAR’s partner universities, through bilateral or multilateral cooperation under consortiums such as Association of Christian Universities and Colleges in Asia (ACUCA); International Network Universities (INU); Association of Southeast and East Asian Catholic College and Universities (ASEACCU).
What to prepare? Basic Requirements 1. An active student of UNPAR 2. For undergraduate:
• Have completed minimum 75 credits (SKS) • Minimum GPA: 3.00 • TOEFL 550/IELTS 6
3. For postgraduate: • Have completed minimum 12 credits (SKS) • Minimum GPA: 3.00 • TOEFL 550/IELTS 6
* Exceptions to the above conditions can be made with the approval of the Head of Study Program. English Proficiency will also be determined by the requirement of Host University.
5. Learning Agreement 6. Official Transcript 7. Proof of English Proficiency 8. Copy of Passport 9. Short introductory video

How to apply? 1. Check if you are eligible to apply for Student Exchange based on the
basic requirements 2. Check out the requirements of the university you wish to apply and
see if you are eligible based on their standards as well 3. If you are eligible, talk to your Head of Study Program on the
possibility of a) credit transfer b) the duration of study
Please note that if you receive your mark from the host university after the period of grade submission in UNPAR, your credit will not be accommodated.
4. Prepare all the documents required. Learning agreement and CV must be filled with the template provided by the OIAC. The template can be downloaded here.
5. Submit all the required documents (except video) and fill in the application form before the deadline to this form.
6. Download the application form that will be sent to your email, submit it to be signed and stamped by the Head of Study Program. Thereafter, send it along with the video to OIAC’s email.
7. You can not apply individually to the host university. You must be nominated by the OIAC.
8. After you have submitted the documents, OIAC will examine your application.
9. If you have received a nomination from the OIAC, you and OIAC will proceed to apply to the host university.

Study Abroad Studying abroad is one of many ways to experience international exposure, develop one’s intercultural awareness and knowledge, as well as widening one’s perspective towards life itself. An opportunity of one-semester studying abroad is provided by UNPAR for students who are eager to learn abroad. The option of universities for studying abroad is not only limited to partner universities of UNPAR, but students may also choose their preferred university!

Short Program During the summer or winter holiday, many overseas universities hold a short program. Conferences, workshops, and camps are some of the types of short programs that UNPAR students may join through the BUD program. The options for the short program are not limited to UNPAR partners only. UNPAR also has its short program activity, the International Student Conference (ISC).

Frequently Asked Questions Q: What if my GPA is lower than 3.00 (for Study Abroad and Student Exchange) or 2.75 (for Short Course)? A: Students with GPA lower than 3.00 or 2.75 may apply with a recommendation letter from the Head of Study Program.
Q: When is the application due in each semester? A: For the fall semester, the application is due on February 25. Meanwhile for the spring semester, the application is due on August 30. These due dates do not apply for Short Course.
Q: Is there any financial support from the OIAC? A: Yes, there is. The financial support granted by the OIAC is partial and will be based on UNPAR’s standard for each country which can be seen here.
Q: Is there any scholarship from UNPAR or the host university? A: Scholarship availability may vary from one university to another. Scholarship is more likely to be provided from the government or private sector where the university is located. For an instance, in Australia, Cheung Kong Group collaborated with Australian government to provide scholarship for educational exchange under the name “Cheung Kong Awards”.
Q: Is there any additional requirement if one wishes to apply for a scholarship? A: Yes. Student must possess minimum TOEFL 600/IELTS 6.5 if student wishes to apply for a scholarship.
