Beaches of CambodiaFor those looking to unwind, relax and recharge on the best Beaches of Cambodia, this is the perfect tour for you. During your two week recess you will experience fabulous sea food, warm waters and will get to explore some of Cambodian Islands and the best beaches in Cambodia. This tour focuses on the south of the country and even though we want you to return home well rested we still appreciate that you should have an understanding of the country and its people.
The beaches of Cambodia are often overlooked in favour of the Angkor temples in the north of the country. However if you are looking to escape the crowds and relax this is defiantly the tour for you! We begin in the Cambodian capital where you will have time to uncover some dark secrets at the killing fields in Phnom Penh before journeying south following the sea air. On the way to the coast we pause at the riverside town of Kampot where you depart on a tranquil sunset cruise. Once in Kep we spend a day on Koh Tonsay (Rabbit Island), home to a stunning and secluded beach. Next on the agenda is more tranquillity at the private Coral Bay Resort & Spa, here you can enjoy the ultimate relaxation experience for a couple of days before shuffling along the coast to Sihanoukville home to the best beaches in Cambodia. From here you can explore the pristine Cambodian islands which lie just off the coast in the warm waters of the Gulf of Thailand.
Shake the sand out of your shoes as we leave the beaches of Cambodia behind and continue to Koh Kong for the final stop of your holiday in Cambodia. The wonderful floating resort is the perfect end; the tranquil river, the beautiful Tatai waterfall and the opportunity to kayak and lose oneself on the picturesque river, before returning you back to Phnom Penh for your flight home.

Day 1 S-21, the Killing fields & Sunset Cruise: Kep (Meals: B/_/D)
Before journeying to Kep we first stop at the infamous Toul Sleng museum (S-21) before moving on to Choeung Ek killing fields in Phnom Penh, located around 17km outside the capital Choeung Ek - Killing Fields is an extremely thought provoking place. After some time to reflect, we continue our journey to Kep and the beaches of Cambodia.
We stop for lunch in Kampot and take a pleasant stroll along the river side. You will then be met by a local guide who will take you on a fabulous sunset cruise. Your vessel for this sunset cruise once belonged to the late King Norodom Sihanouk, though now she resembles more of a modest river boat. Once on board you enjoy a glass or two of icy-cold “Laughing Lizard” Sauvignon Blanc as well as some cheese & crackers as the scenery slowly rolls by. You will even be treated to a seafood BBQ on board! Once your sunset cruise has come to an end we return to Kampot and onwards finishing our day in Kep.

Day 8, 9 & 10 Island HoppingIf you fancy venturing from the Cambodian mainland then we have three wonderful options for you, either ‘Song Saa’ ‘Koh Sdach’ or ‘Lazy Beach’ all set on stunning Cambodian islands but at different ends of the spectrum.
Getting to ‘Song Saa’ is relatively straight forwards we head to the main port in Sihanoukville where a luxury speed boat waits to take you to the island in just 35 minutes. For ‘Koh Sdach’ we transfer you by road along the coast and then catch a small boat out to the island. Access to ‘Lazy Beach’ take a little more planning; there is only a single boat that departs the mainland at 12:00 and takes around two hours on a good day. The return boat leaves the island at 8:30am.
Song Saa Island (Meals: B/L/D)
Song Saa is two pristine Cambodian Islands that lie side by side, Song Saa is Khmer for ‘The Sweethearts’ and the private island is as seductive as its name implies. The island features 27 luxury overwater villas that have been built with sustainable materials and offer stunning jungle and ocean views. The resort also has a world class restaurant and lounge which is situated a short stroll along a boardwalk offering stunning views for sunsets!

• Yoga and meditation centre on the eastern shore, ideal at sunrise
• Beachside water-sports centre offering sailing, diving, kayaking and snorkelling
• Fascinating ecological program to experience the area’s flora and fauna
• A perfect honeymoon destination
Koh Sdach (Meals: B/_/D)
Koh Sdach Island or King Island as it is known is located just off the main coast line roughly halfway between Sihanoukville and Koh Kong. The Cambodian island mainly serves as a fishing port but now has a new shallow water exploratory dive centre and a lovely private resort. Belinda Beach Resort is a small and charming family run guest house, situated at one end of the island, boasting a lovely swimming pool and its own private beach. It is a true home from home!
Koh Rong Samloem – Lazy Beach (Meals: _/_/_)
A private tropical hideaway on the Cambodian Island of Koh Rong Saloem, situated off the coast of Sihanoukville. Lazy Beach offers a number of beautiful beachside bungalows, golden sandy beaches and clear blue water. The charming wooden bungalows all have two large double beds, en-suite bathrooms and spacious balconies offering a water’s edge view. Designed for comfort with a stunning restaurant and bar, the latter housing hammocks which are ideal for reading your book and a perfect place to enjoy the magnificent sunset views!
Day 11 Sihanoukville – Koh Kong: Koh Kong (B, L, D)
We leave behind the Cambodian Islands and the stunning beaches of Cambodia and head up towards Tatai River. Once we arrive at the Tatai River we take a short boat ride to the floating resort. Upon reaching the resort the rest of the day will be yours to relax in idyllic surroundings in what we believe is the perfect way to end a holiday in Cambodia.
