George Townsend found something special when he first settled as a sheep rancher in 1881. He discovered an exceptional mountain offering beautiful vistas that would eventually become a world-renowned destination. Guests who come from far and wide find the Beaver Creek ski area welcoming and challenging.

Beaver Creek Mountain offers ski runs for various levels of ability. There is Strawberry Park for gentle groomed runs and Grouse Mountain for the bump runs. For those seeking an alternative to alpine skiing the Nordic center offers spectacular views of three majestic mountain ranges.

In the heart of the resort is Beaver Creek Village full of events, upscale galleries, shopping, dining and spectacular scenery on heated cobblestone walkways in an exciting intimate Alpine-styled village.

Free parking welcomes you while the complimentary shuttles deliver you to a unique experience for you and your entire group.

Beaver Creek has hosted a variety of major ski events, including the World Alpine Ski Championships in 1989 and 1999 and scheduled to host the 2015 event as well. In addition, Beaver Creek has hosted the Audi Birds of Prey World Cup since 1997. Summertime adventure brings the USA Pro Cycling Challenge, and the XTERRA Mountain Cup to the area.
