BECOME A SUSTAINABILITY EXPERT
Take classes, choose majors or minors, hear guest speakers, study abroad, and get your hands dirty in internships and jobs on and off campus, all around sustainability.
Save electricity with smart strips that power down, and use compact fluorescents or LEDs in your desk and floor lamps. Actions like these will help your on-campus hall or apartment win the UNH Unplugged fall competition.
Use WildCAT Transit, Campus Connector shuttles, ZipCar, the Amtrak Downeaster, and Cat Cycle bicycles instead!
Work with faculty and staff to research sustainability, then present your work at the Undergraduate Research Conference.
Carry a reusable water bottle or coffee mug to use on campus to create less waste, and remember to recycle. UNH has single stream recycling, so it’s easy.
